@@VIOLENTxLJx Great point. Sometimes the simple gets overlooked, so hopefully simplifying may help those trying to brush-up with beginner's skill. Thank you for the input. Have a great day!
@@killerconn May be a 4" pop up, for small areas or areas where it's difficult to trench, the connections on top are generally 4', 6', 8', 15', whatever one buys with heads. ...a little but strainer thingummy goes under to part to filter dirt, debris, etc. They are not expensive in my opinion.
If i need to remove the orange wire to activate the outdoor unit, then reconnect it so the unit extracts the hot air from the house. I'd need to change my thermostat? I have no gas.
@@pandapanda4124 With system off, one could shine into grate, where fan is located, and if there is 4-way looking valve near compressor, kinda looks like three copper pipes going in one direct & one going into other direction, with wires attached, then system may be heat pump.
You absolutely do not know what you're doing the information you were telling these people are not right the only thing that you said was right is the flow there's two different types of valves the one with the bleeder is a flow control valve the one without the bleeder is non flow control and the wire it does really not matter how you connect them either or wire coming off the solenoid is a ground
@@jimmorton2585 Interesting take ... thank you for the input. ...installed and repaired so many irrigation systems ... may have worked. Have a great day!

My opinion is in HVAC, I generally use blue as common. ...forgotten how many systems installed, repaired. My opinion is small screw allows me to manually test system when I lack access to control box. Thank you for input.
@@jimmorton2585 My opinion is when wiring, my preference is to have an extra wire(if bundled) e.g., a five zone system & if used eight strand wire, there's an extra just in case one wire gets damaged & then perhaps needs wire interchanged.
@@jimmorton2585 My opinion is solenoid wires may be interchanged, yet the common may need to be connected to each valve per zone, unless it's controlled by one of the round battery packed thingummies & I rarely install them. Always open to new, better ways of doing, so feel free if you have suggestions. Thank you!
Been doing Preventative Maintenance for a while now and I agree with you! Used to service Barracks on Post and they all had these Handles! Only ever needed replacing when you ran out of holes to clip the flapper chain to.
OK, please don’t pretend that you think that you’re the only person who does this ever because there’s plenty of other people who’ve done this before you. I’m just gonna tell you this now and the nicest way possible.
