Interesting Vlog we've not tried Arvia, but she does look like a lovely ship. We agree with you on the buffet, it was the same on Iona. It looks so similar to Iona, but with subtle difference. Cheers 🍻
Absolutely brilliant ship tour guys. We've hit your subscribe button ✔and look forward to watching more of your great cruise content now, and in the future 👍
We were curious about Arvia, and found your video and channel here in the cruise corner😄. Really nicely put together video. Lots of relevant detail and images of the locations around the ship. Thumbs up from us 👍
Thank you for the video. I have a cruise in 20 days, and I am so nervous about it. I have been sailing only with NCL so far, and already have another 2 cruises booked, with NCL... beside this one. But the more I watch and read, the less desire I have to go on the cruise. 🙈
Hi there, thanks for your comment. Although our personal experience with MSC wasn’t great we do have some friends who said MSC was the best cruise they’d been on. Euribia is a beautiful ship with a lot of good features, it was just the service that let it down for us (we found out later that they’d over booked and were under staffed) so hopefully next time we go it will be out of school holidays so may have a different opinion. All that said I’m sure you’ll have a fab time. All the Best Kerrin & Luci
Hi, thanks for the note. To be honest we only ate there once as the service was so chaotic! The food was ok, maybe not up to the same standard as some of the other cruise lines but it was ok. The main 2 gripes it seems that people have with MSC is the quality of food and service - however Euribia was a stunning ship so the good and bad do balance out. Kind Regards Luci
Thanks for the info. Me and the Mrs are going on the Arvia November 23rd. 14 weeks and counting:) Caribbean cruise for 2 weeks. It will be our very first Cruise experience. Could you tell me what the dress code is for men, ie evening time? Can i get into bars and restaurants in black jeans and T shirt for example or do i have to wear Trousers and shirt?.
Apologies for the delayed response, there was such a good variety of bars & restaurants, a couple required a dress code (eg The Crows Nest was no shorts in the evening and tie during formal nights) and others didn’t (like 6th Street diner for example or Brodies) so it all depends on what you’re looking for. Hope this makes some sense and hope you have a fab time in the Caribbean.
Great insight, thank you-we will be off on a 14 night cruise on Arvia around the Med but not until Sept 14th 2025 -hope thwe time goes quickly, cannot wait!
@@nazimarohom5274 Thanks for the note, I am sure you will have a lovely time. All the staff and crew are very friendly and it's a beautiful ship. Have a fabulous time and please let us know how you got on xx
Re medications try to ensure all prescribed meds are in the original packaging . I came unstuck in USA when my meds were not and had lots of questions to answer with immigration. Also re the washing line in shower the side you pull it out from you twist the part line comes from and it does not sag 😍🥰 another thing that can be useful is make yourself a little calendar for the wall of what your itinerary is for your cruise.
Hi, thanks for those extra tips. I didn't even think about the medication being in different packaging so I'll definitely take them in the original boxes and then put in my pill box for my next cruise, thank you! Regards Luci
