Malevich's radical gesture is that with his black square he defeated the sun (a symbol of traditional culture). Over time, the square was transformed into a pixel and became the basis of all computer graphics. Postmodernity raised the square to the flag and began to deconstruct everything that was possible, in the end there was nothing left. It is being replaced by metamodernity and recognizes oscillation as the basis of all. The sun rises and sets. With my work I showed exactly this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ALW8-tclRHk.htmlsi=tEx_boFJQBXRNzAN
Thanks for bringing the event to the comfort of my house! Much appreciated. However, I must say, with very few exceptions, what I saw was a decadent art, maybe influenced by being held in a decadent city.
Thank you Andre! I would say that the nature of this fair is quite international; if you take a look at the the other videos taken in Miami for example, you can find there some of the same galleries showing similar things. So I wouldn’t say that the fair reflects 100% the mood of San Francisco. There are a few local galleries but they’re not the majority
I would say that the art scene is very much alive and well; of course what’s around influences the artistic production of the artists in terms of subjects, topics, and even techniques. As always Art tends to incorporate a response to what happens around us.
BAD VIDEO NO THANKS YOU CANNOT WAIT A SECOND MORE TO AVOID PEOPLE OR YOU HAVE TO CUT ALL ARTWORKS BECAUSE YOU DO NOT KNOW YOUR LENS PRACTICE MORE IDIOT
Definitely a different feel overall than what I have seen presented lately by NYC galleries. Are alot of the fine-grained and granular prints digitally manipulated?
Thank you for your comment. As per the prints, I don’t think they are digitally manipulated but I am not sure. If you’re referring to some the pieces exposed by jack fischer gallery, the print there is covered with a thin piece of fabric
As an artist myself ,i would never say any art is ever ' bad' art , only that although it doesn't suit my particular taste , someone else may love it .Artists express themselve in many ways .Live and let live . Any budding artists out there ..do 't ever let any " know it all about Art snob" put your work down or offer to teach you what inTHEIR opinion is the CORRECT way .Di your own stuff YOUR way , because that's the only honest way . Some might hate it , but some might really love it . That's the variety of life 😊
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. Art Fairs cover a large spectrum of art, and different fairs have different focus, vibes, and targets. If what you’re looking for is more historicized artists, modernism, expressionism etc of the last century, and in general more of that art that you could rather see in a museum, my advice is to look for Art Basel. We covered Art Basel 2023 in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IK8X1E-sZqw.htmlsi=yNuqm_WDwx0fk93X Hope you’ll enjoy it!
I can’t watch more than 15 seconds of this….Music sucks. Too obnoxious and loud. Am I at a nightclub or am I trying to immerse myself in contemplative art? Perhaps redo the video with soothing music or no music at all. It’s better to hear the ambient murmurs of the event, than loud music with kitschy drum beats. Music aside, the video seems great!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! I used a somewhat softer music in this other video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8zePdAPVzQo.htmlsi=urAHjW4j57dESCBa on the art market fair in SF. There will be more videos soon, hopefully you’ll like the music!
