I found this cd in perfect condition years ago and just unearthed my cd collection and wow amazing so glad i went to Goodwill and bought these cds for 50 cents
IRL, this was the hit single of that compilation. Hell, Tad said audience members in Germany were yelling lines from it during the, uh, TAD set.... Dang. (Somewhere, I may still have the original Ampex 1/4" of this because... reasons.)
It's funny how Everett True, a British journalist coined the term 'grunge' for these bands at the time when Nirvana and Tad were touring God's Balls/Bleach, most of the bands that truly defined the Underground Seattle Music Scene, had already passed by the way side or the majority had been renamed and reformed. I'm surprised, even though TAD is on here that, much like they included both Mudhoney and Green River, they didn't include Bundle of Hiss, H-Hour, or even a band like Lush. But of course I do understand the choice was and always is theirs and there's only so much space in those tracklists to make decisions on how to fill it all out.
