I own that exact guitar. bought it 4 years ago, and like you it came with a few setup flaws. I had an issue with the top E string being too close to the edge of the fretboard so it would sometimes slip over the top. Upon further inspection I noticed the whole bridge was shifted to the top E string direction. The bridge anchor notches were imperfect. I had to dremmel out the notch and painstakingly go through all the setup parameters. I was pissed as I paid big bucks for it. The guitar shop I bought it from said they couldn't do anything about it and as I financed it I would have to pay a return restocking fee of 20 percent. So i did it myself. Plays great now though. Anyway that was a great cover, good sound mix from this end!!
It’s a modded plexi amp with a greenback speaker and sm57. The front of the amp was juiced with a paramtric eq to give it a sloppier low end and a spanky high end. Post in the DAW was reverb and typical mixing EQ
the real amp cuts through better in the mids. IMO this is where all amp sims fall short and how you can always tell the fake marshall from the real thing. thanks for posting this. great video!

Damn that warm saggy Marshall tone yet maintains a crisp/sparkly texture and brilliant aftertones. Hard to get. I once accidentally left on a YJM100 set to about 25 watts for 4 hours and it was nailing that late 70s EVH tone. Didn't want to turn it off. You did Warren right!!!!
Sounds tits! Really gives a good idea how tight Randy's playing was on recordings. Jake is a serious madman though. It would be if RR had lived and we could've heard him play this amazing song at some point. Duet, cough cough...
