The Locator’s are a group of family, friends and associates who love the outdoors. Campfires is where we all end up at the end of the night to tell tall tales, and enjoy one another’s company. do you think you could let me know what lake that is? im from vancouver island and love fishing, but im moving to edmonton in a month or so for grade 10
Yes i can definitely agree with you on that, but in my cace I only use this set up for certain lakes usually at the beginning of the season where access to the lake is fairly easy. I have dealt with some really deep snow on one specific lake less beaten down from people and it would have been a lot more easier for me if I was up at least 3 to 4 more inches higher. Caught my first burbot there this year :) I was jigging a smelt like 2ft off bottom because it was acting like a pike. It freespooled a lot of line too, total opposite of how people describe them, he chased aggressive and took lots of line
Looks like lake is getting to be pretty good again...used to catch a pile of walleye there a few years ago...heard it had a bad winter kill in 2017 so haven't been there in a few years.....might have to get my ass down there...lol...
