It's an operation because it's a series of tactical battles (breaking through border defenses, seizing towns and roads etc.) that are connected in time and place (Kursk region) and serve larger strategic goals (militarily to divert Russian troops and politically to show that Ukraine can still seize the initiative).

"Area"?? Guess what! It begins with the letter A, another pesky vowel. That means you use "an" rather than "a," see? Practicie it: An area. An area. Maybe write it down ten or twenty times until you get it settled in. (And right after that, "operational." An operational group because O is a vowel.)

The movie was not based on Webster's book. It was based on the book BOB and the recollections of all the men from Easy Co. Webster was wounded and missed many battles before his return near the of the war.The series features Webster in an episode. Webster was a private.

COH2 is a tactics game, so long as it's any good, real tactics should work. And yeah. It does, because you can pin infantry with a support weapon (MG42, browning machine gun, etc.) and then manoeuvre around them.
NCOs play as senior enlisted advisors, meaning they have a lot of experience to help newer officers and of course advice them through decisions they can also play as second in command if I’m not mistaken
Thanks! It's a custom image I made using assets from the Arma III editor and some filters to give it the painted look. There are more like it in my video on the German assault platoon. I haven't made any since but I may include them again in a future project.

I agree with your assessment of the political nature of the conflict. However there are some issues that I don’t think really bare out in reality. 1.) The insurgents did not entirely (or even mostly) come from within. Many migrated from neighboring countries to fight. So “winning the support” of the local populace wouldn’t have done much. The real solution I suppose would have been to go to war with the neighboring countries, which was what happened in effect even if it wasn’t formally declared, and it ended with Rhodesia being invaded without having the means to invade anyone else. 2.) The government wouldn’t “give up majority rule” because they correctly identified that doing so would not be in the best interest of the entire country. Were they fearful for their own safety? Sure. But the stated intention of the government was to maintain power to keep the country running not to maintain their dominance over the “the majority”. If you disagree with my assessment I encourage you to look at modern day Zimbabwe and tell me majority rule improved the situation the residents were living in.
Kleine correctie. De Dommel stroomt weliswaar vanuit Eindhoven in de richting van Son, maar ter hoogte van Tongelre stroomt de Dommel ten westen van Tongelre. Het riviertje dat tussen Tongelre en Nuenen stroomt is een zijriviertje van de Dommel, genaamd de Kleine Dommel (staat als "Rul" op de stafkaart die je later laat zien). Dan kan er wel eens een detail tussen door glippen. Dit gevecht speelde zich zo'n beetje in mijn achtertuin af, dus dergelijke details over de lokale geschiedenis kan ik bijzonder waarderen! All these "colonised" countries are weird and bitter. Theyve had independence for nearly 2 generations. At some point youve gotta move on and grow up.. Dont act like crazy ex wives/children. We split up. Youre in charge of your own shit now.
Whoever wrote this so-called documentary missed the most important part of all It was after the second world war when communism was desperate to expand all over the globe and China had their version, and the Soviet union had their version of Marxism and each one fought to expand their version of Marxism and bring countries into their sphere of influence and that’s why we had the problem in Africa
I never understand why these presentations fail to mention the fact that virtually all of these Fire Force deployments were as a result of some excellent OP work by the Police Support Unit and the Selous Scouts.
The betrayal of the White populations of Rhodesia and South Africa by their American and British cousins is one of the greatest crimes of the 20th century. It's a great shame on our countries that we turned over these nations to rule by Black communist governments despite the valor of their armed forces in resisting that unmitigated disaster.

the modern way of holding and loading a gun has bled its way into ww2 shooters , a lot of people are also unaware that the chicken wing was the typical way to hold a gun during the world wars for example which is why you see modern ways of holding a gun in ww1 and ww2 shooters , also HK slap on a mp40 is just big xd
