You might think that narrative is true. When the workeris the best trained, experienced, not cross utilized, means you're quick, efficient, effective with the highest quality, the worker may look like he/she isn't working, know this. They're just resting. And this guy sounds like a scab. Fight me!
Depends on the Union and Geo. Location. I worked both Carpenters and Operating Engineers and both were good. I worked in the Oilfields and we delivered equip. to the docks to take to the offshore platforms and the Dock Workers and Crane Operators were a PIA to deal with. The company I worked for was non union and they would make us wait till last to unload us. So one day i was driving a truck that had a 12.5 ton truck mounted stinger crane and said F-this i kicked in the PTO and ran out my outriggers and uncradled my crane and started unloading myself. They shat themselves and said i couldn't do that because i was not a long shoreman i said then swing that 100 ton crane over here and unload me then or i'll do it myself. Acting like a bunch of F-ing children. I also worked a non union Carpenter job in Sacramento and the union sent over a couple of Guidos in a big Lincoln from SF to harass us for not being union. Laziest workers i have ever been around were Union.
@@markthegunplumber8376 what you did was dangerous. A union member would have waited for a certified Crain operator recognized by the NCCCO. Crain operating is dangerous, even for an experience, trained operator.
Agree 100%, been on both sides. They protect the guilty and the lazy. If they would only call out their own it could work. But no, they are all corrupt every last one of them in Union power positions.
