Thanks for comment. Basically all of my "unit tests" are simple unit showcases and not like "how to play the unit properly". What you said is kinda true, but in that case the spikes are disappearing faster when the unit leaves the area. Proper combo could be Spikes in any formation, then spell 2 instantly or move the unit away when charge is coming.
just a tip, if you intend to move forward with your hero you should X move your imp shields in front of your hero during that small time of cc immunity they get from the cover commander passive and then when u stop to auto/use skill with hero press cover commander again. This way your shields will actually tank the damage for you and the units behind them
