Even my teen cousins who haven't watched Star Wars or Seven Samurai or played Warhammer 40k found it boring and pretentious and asked to switch to another film midwatch. It's not bad because it's being compared to much better films or sources of influence. It's just bad, period. It's ugly, the world-building is a mess, the characters are bland or annoying, the fight scenes are generic by today's standards and have nothing new to offer, and the overuse of slow-mo is just fockin painful! very painful to watch! jeezus!
You would THINK that Star War/hammer 40K / Seventh Samurai would make for an excellent film. However, Hack Snyder has to do his very best to stick his fat fist through a beautiful premise and then confusedly use his best material in snippets of the film. A much more unique take on this film would be seeing how Kora becomes disillusioned, like an inversion of Saving Private Ryan. We've never had a, STAR WARS film about The Empire. That could be him making new ground and he could even have his Seven Samurai film as each of her squad gets killed, justifying the premise.
Yeah the weird fascination of Miss Marvel with Captain Marvel borderline pedophilia and then when you see the cutscene of the black king of Asgard and she tells Miss Marvel to get a strap-on I mean strapped in was definitely a good decision to cut that from the movie but then Miss Marvel says captain my captain or some shit and it comes off as really weird cringy pedophile like and yeah that was some really good shit the way Captain Marvel like she's got a love crush on her or something and she's a 16 year old child in love with a woman that is apparently 60 plus years old but doesn't age because she's Captain Marvel now or some shit? Whatever

there were people in the back of my theatre who clapped in the end. One can only hope it was sarcastic clapping.. when describing scenes from the movie I called them schizophrenic as well.

Casablanca is one of my favorite films, and the best film i've seen Humphrey Bogart in. The Mirror Crack'd, yeah that is not a good version. I recommend the version with Joan Hickson, she did quite a few Miss Marples and played the character very well.
Good video! You did a good job refocusing the direction of the story and giving more reasonable motivations for the actions of the characters/plot. Sometimes the music was too loud to hear what was being said (towards the end) and some criticisms at the end could have been rolled into the 'why rebel moon doesn't work' section at the beginning. Otherwise the comparisons and criticisms were accurate, relevant, and succinct. Keep it up!
Spot on! I'm not a sci-fi fan, but I can still find enjoyment in this genre. However, this film underestimated my intelligence to the point where it really irritated me.
It’s so annoying I loved this movie and I’m a big stars wars fan. Snyder did state he a fan too and got inspiration but people are giving bad reviews because they are comparing it to stars wars. I thought the concept was great I do wishe Snyder just released the Snyder cut at the beginning . But yeah I think people are comparing too much and just giving reviews based off that
Tbh, I'm keeping a bit of hope up for projects like Rebel Moon. It was better than any of the Disney Lucas Film bowel movements. Also, maybe more creators like Zack Snyder will move forward with their own projects. It's as if Rebel Moon opened the door to produce & release films that go after the same target audience as the Disney/Lucas/Marvel/D C. Sure some will suck, but there's bound to be some gems in the pile.

I really agree with you, I love KFP so fucking much- but there's something about it that feels ``lazy``? It's like they're trying to play it safe. The villian is almost an exact COPY. Kung Fu Panda 2 is my absolute favorite movie in all of the trilogy. I've watched it so many times- listen to their incredible score almost every day. The visuals weren't ``over exagerated``, it was the perfect balance between amazing graphics, and REALISTIC lighting. / Kung Fu Panda 1 being nearly just as good Now let's get to Po, the way he acted felt so much more realistic. At times he was silly, but when the serious times came- he was SERIOUS! It seems like in the 3rd film- and now the 4th, they try to make him ``silly and goofy `` all the time. Po in the 1st and 2nd film had such a lovable personality, he had so much EMOTION, his facial expressions weren't over the top either. And I feel as if the characters actually had ``mass`` - like they were actually there. Also like, can we treat the villians seriously like we did in the first two films? They treated Kai like he was a joke- he had a lot of potential to be an INCREDIBLE villian! Especially with his theme song. The lighting, backrounds, ESPECIALLY THE STORY, and the overall design of the movie was a perfect balance of everything. In a way, ( Hopefully this makes sense ) - when I watched Po in the first two movies, I heard PO. I didn't hear Jack Black. But now, all I hear is Jack Black TRYING to be Po. It's just not the same anymore. And Lord Shen, the darker tone to the film made it just THAT good. He had such a personal relation to Po- which made him all the more terrifying. I could go on for ages about how beautiful this movie is, but I've written plenty already. Of course, it's all just my opinion. And if really corny millennial humor is everybodies idea of a good movie, then good for everyone else 👍 I'm aware it's just the trailer, but there's so many signs pointing towards a ``low-quality`` movie.

He didn't learn how to use all their moves. Instead, Chameleon can directly copy the powers of others. And from what we've seen, Chameleon also has necromancy powers. Besides, Chameleon also has real henchmen, while Kai was alone, even if he had jade zombies. And I think Chameleon has a direct goal. Instead Kai was simply a Chi addict.

I heard rumors that she is going to be the COMPLETE MIRROR FOIL for Po, possibly having gone through a similar situation as he did but for the wrong and more malevolent reasons. If that’s the case, then she’s bound to be the main villain of the fifth and sixth movies as well.
