Looks like a really cool product, but honestly the video is terrible, and does an absymal job of selling. Needs audio (narration, and possibly background music), and slowing down so that people can follow what is going on. The other thing that is really distracting is the mouse looks like it's on amphetamines.
Hi there. I am so sorry to trouble you with this, but I have been at this for days on end and I am reaching out to anyone who could assist for help. I am using a jquery library where I simply add a button dynamically on the screen and then add an onclick event. I don't use the odoo javascript library but rather I am outside of it. I simply want to launch the mail composer. I can launch it with a <button type="object" name="myActionMethodName"/>. That is because odoo javascript knows how to handle the response from the ajax. Do you happen to have an example on how to do a simple action? Here is an example of what I am doing: $('.something').on('click', function(){ var myConfig = { 'name': 'Compose Email', 'type': 'ir.actions.act_window', 'res_model': 'mail.compose.message', 'views': [(false, 'form')], 'view_id': false, 'target': 'new', 'context': {} }; var action = new WhatMustIDoHere('?????'); action.doAction(myConfig); // the config above is supposed to be passed to the action and cause mail composer to pop-up }); I am not sure how to run this. IF you would be kind to assist - I would truly appreciate it. I am working on a JasperReport integration in order to print highly stylized documents for my project. I am more than happy to share my work with you. Thanks in advance.
