Hey! Thanks for the tutorial! Ok so I have all the ingredients on my person but when I'm at the alchemy station, Belladonna doesn't appear on the shelf. In fact, neither does Wormwood or the mushroom. Is it because I don't "know" there recipe? Thanks in advance!
@@GhostHand I was in fact the biggest dumb. I didn't realise I had to select inventory, then the items needed to stock the shelf. Such a nubcake. Thanks for the reply!
Allicent is one of the few characters I've ever hated with a passion. Everything about her is evil and gross. Aegon should've treated her as he did the rat catchers, it's literally her fault that Jahaerys had no protection.
Whilst Aegon’s heart will no doubt turn to stone in time, so far they don’t seem to realize they’re poking a relatively reasonable and well-intentioned dragon.
They earned a seat at that council. Alicent just married Viserys, how in the hell is that earning a seat? That, like Aegon, is a fucking place holder position.
Damn. Alright, so the guy is not fit to rule anybody at all, I personally don't like him, he's proving himself unworthy at every turn. But nobody deserves this from their own parents.
Mmm i still thinking they kinda ruined Alicent point when the "Kingsmaker" speech IS from her and not Cole "You are not a good King" yet she put him there, she loves him but insults him I dont know kinda bipolar 😂
Comparing this with how Rhae encouraged Luke to be the next Lord Velaryon before that tragic incident, wow, rhae definitely a better mother, at least she gave kinder words
She basically calls him a useless loser to his face, right after his son was murdered because she was sleeping with the bodyguard, leaving Jaehaerys without protection. Alicent Queen of Hipocrites
THIS-- like cmon lets not pretend the very reason Aegon is slowly slipping into madness from the constant pressure of the crown Alicent literally put him in when he told her constantly he wasn't ready, and by the death of his son which is literally HER FAULT
@@Red_rummI mean, it’s also Daemon’s fault as well because he made a stupid plan to kill Aemond using two incompetent men that couldn’t even tell who a man with one eye is.
Alicent is everything Daemon warned his brother about. She wanted power and control, but why should the sons she tried to manipulate follow her directions now
I feel like Alicent hates her life and so takes it out on Aegon. Aemond is too aggressive and slippery for her to do that and she seems to only like Helaena albeit in a stilted way so goes for moppy Aegon
At this point it's not even about him keeping his crown, I think it's anger for his dead son Once his son was gone, there was never a chance for peace. Kinda my reading of it
@@kailanerman5090yeah but if he went and raised a white flag rhaenyra could’ve cleared up the mess between them since she to lost a son aegon more than anyone would understand that both aemond and daemon were truly responsible for their losses and rhaenyra and aegon were the ones to pay the price they are in the exact same situation.
@Mcherri maybe. But remember, he's a 21 year old mess who's never been near a single person he can trust (apart from his wife and... kinda Cole?) And he's been fed sense he was born that Rhaenyra would kill him if given the chance. So. From his perspective, after losing his son to her (allegedly), he'd have no reason to believe she or Daemon wouldn't smoke him on sight. He's alienated and alone, so war is the only option deemed safe. Which makes this whole thing even more tragic.
At the beginning, yes. It's hilarious how given half a chance, Aegon would have thrown that crown at Rhaenyra, wished her good luck, and tucked and rolled out of that whole situation and into Essos adventure with Sunfyre. But now he has lost a son and thinks Rhaenyra was who killed him on his bed
If they didn't make Aegon a rapist he'd deserve so much more sympathy. I do truly love he's character and Tom is acting so well as him. I'm looking forward to seeing his condition next episode.
@@kenlik7571Not really, because it can show you that you can grow to like and sympathize with a character, but also hold them accountable for their horrible actions and behavior. Just look at Robert Baratheon, Jaime Lannister, and Theon Greyjoy. They’re horrible people, but a lot of the viewers love them because they’re complex. Aegon is a horrible person and rapist at the end of the day, but you can really understand how he ended up so messed up to begin with. And if he was treated better in his childhood, he would’ve been a better person and brother.
episode 3: "Remember guys, Rhae Rhae wears my grandaddys jaehaerys' crown, he was the wisest and smartest targshit so that means you should all listen to her because she wears his crown!" -Rhaenys. episode 4: "lmao you think wearing a crown makes you smart? dummy lol youre bad" -Alicent. Mfs will tell you this show isnt biased btw
We hate Alicent in this scene but she wasn't wrong though. If it wasn't a mother and son chat, that would be pretty good advice but Alicent broke her son's heart I guess.
When I watch how Alicent repeatedly cuts down her own son, I really, really feel for Aegon. Never did she comfort him or guide him. All she ever did was deride him.
@@randomcenturion7264 Yes, but not for her children. She loved them very much. And here she behaves completely poorly, in this aspect I think they absolutely destroyed her.
@@randomcenturion7264the thing is, she loves her family in the books, but hates Rhaenyra. In the show, in order to make her sympathetic towards Rhaenyra, they had to make her be cruel towards her family, specially Aegon
This is probably the moment he realizes that he wasn’t Viserys' heir. His grandfather suggested it and his mother confirmed it for him. That is why he rides to battle. He knows he’s not the legal heir to the throne, but he still can be the charismatic leader that people choose to relate to; the battle was Aegon’s last hope of respect, to demonstrate that he isn’t useless, to avenge his child’s death and to just feel something besides the rush of wine and women.
True. Aegon knows he will never be enough for her. Helaena has detached herself from her. And Aemond...well I imagine he despises her for weakness. She cannot control him.
@@randomcenturion7264And Daeron was shipped off to Oldtown probably at a young age. So he might also resent Alicent for sending him away from his family. That is, if she even wanted him there.
Before his son died, everyone kind of already wanted war. Aegon should've banished Otto and Alicent. And done a way with Crispy Cole completely. It would be hard to get rid if Aemond. Then like she said with poor wording, learn from the council. Educating himself is the main problem, and that's why they look down on him.
An important thing I think people miss from this conversation is that Alicent is projecting. Because that's what she is, a puppet for her father Otto. From a young age Otto didn't want to hear her opinions, he wanted her to wed the King and have babies and have them placed on the throne. So she can relate to Aegon's frustration better than anyone but rather than connect with him she gets annoyed and subconsciously adopts this attitude of "Well I do it all the time so suck it up buttercup".
Aegon wasn’t thought to think for himself he’s just the face nothing more nothing less. If they were facing off against someone like Archaon the Everchosen it would all be over in less than a day these retard wouldn’t have the time to shit themselves. Aegon is more like Agone.
Alicent: Literally allows the enemy queen to walk away when she could have easily had her captured after she left the sept. Also Alicent: Yeah I'm super wise and smart, you really should be doing whatever I tell you to do.🤡
