Glanville's Defense was so bad !! Dishman was not good enough in '89' to play man to man, and lord knows the '89' Oilers could not play zone D for shit.
I remember watching this game in 7th grade. This game was awesome! I wish the Texans would fight to change their name. The texans is one of the more stupid names and logos. Oilers were awesome. Bud Adams was greedy and now that team is horrible.
Love these old NBC games with the legendary Marv Albert and Bob Trumpy....they just don't make em like that anymore....Marv was uniquely the voices of both the Bills and the Jets during that era....(ie; if the Jets were on the road and the Bills were home, NBC would assign him to Orchard Park and vice versa)...miss me some Marv Albert..."yess"....and "a 62 yard PASSSSS PLAYYYY"
I have to laugh when Bob Trumpy says "Oh No" and Marv Albert says "Andre Reed"! OH NO ANDRE REED! It just goes to show how much those announcers at the time for NBC were favoring Houston over Buffalo. Congrats goes to Andre Reed for tomorrows enshrinement into the Hall Of Fame.
