Skiers usually are the more technically descriptive with their instruction and snowboarders are often "too cool/just do it". All the geeking out on this channel is so helpful!
Tried to hit a rail last season and broke my finger and needed surgery after my first attempt. As soon as I popped on my feet flew out from under me and jammed my finger into the rail. Terrified to try a rail now :(
how about speed? Should i slow down enough to really spot the rail and figure out when i’m gonna hop onto it at, or should i keep a decent bit of speed and just cruise the the rail a little faster?
come a little faster, more prone to catching that edge on the box or rail while going slow it almost makes it seem longer while going slow if you come in with a decent amount of speed you will typically come out a lot better
I can boardslide 70 percent of the time but the other 30 I always catch my front edge on the rail or I do sometimes lean too far back. Any advice to not catch my edge?
Stay low on your knees. When youre high on your knees and lean slightly the board leans a lot with you but if youre low on your knees it will be a lot harder to fall
The intuition liner in your boots shrink up a little when you get them hot haha please don't pass out on us lmao. Hair dryer works great for a heat mold too, just pull the foot beds out before you heat anything up. LOVE the idea to put your old liners in tho, I fit boots for a living and I've never thought about that one for a downsize
I’ve been having a lot of trouble with this rotation. Backside 180 is super comfortable and I’ve even learned front 3 and cab 3 and still can get these down. Thanks for the vid!
Yooo! You should do a video about traveling on airplanes with boards/gear. Maybe tips for keeping the bags light/ deciding what gear you do and don’t need etc!
Pulled the midday sock swap last year for the first time. Saturday morning Fresh pow, turned out the hard day of snowboarding, sock swap, fully refreshed and made closing the night out a joy. 10/10 will do it again this year. All I want for Christmas is socks..
