Yeah, the Ottomans are just a Turkish family from the province right next to Constantinople. They just overthrew the Byzantine family. Eurocentrist racist like to pretend that they were Arabs because they were Muslims. The Ottomans and Byzantine were the same race and same ethnicity, same country. Just different religions 👀.
@@qazxswxswqaz3691 🤣, you're being a racist history denier . The Ottomans and Byzantine are to Constantinople and Turkey as the Windsors and Tudors are to England. That is actual history. The Ottomans and Byzantines are only the names of the Dynasty. They are both Turkish noble families and they both ruled over Turkey. That is really the history. Now, why would racist Europeans make you believe that they are completely different people? Islamophobia much ?

Me reading the description and looking for byzantine instruments but not hearing any 🤣 and what about making the song in actual greek ? Js saying Farya Faraji Does a good job if you want to inspire yourself, cause that, sure it's nice but really, nothing close to actual byzantine music, also don't say there are no byzantine instruments left, theres: Βυζαντινή Λύρα, the Urghun, the Shilyani and the Salandj
Farya Faraji is awesome and i could never come close to his work. I try to create a modern take adding when possible old instruments. I myself play the guitar and enjoy playing rebetiko, bouzouki, but unfortunately byzantines didnt play that :D I appreciate your comment and will try to balance modern vs ancient/older instruments. Furthermore as a Greek speaker myself there is already a recording in koine/byzantine Greek coming in September. I get some hate when i use ancient greek or byzantine greek, because most greeks don’t understand them and almost every English speaking either. But i love them.

Not really historical if we are counting the sound of the music but the Latin is spot on imo. Romans would use certain flutes and lyres and depending the time period it would have many different sounds.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! You're absolutely right that the instruments used by the Romans would have created a very different sound. While we strive to incorporate the essence of those ancient sounds, our music is ultimately a modern tribute that aims to evoke the spirit of the past rather than replicate it exactly. We use contemporary equipment to create something that honors historical events and characters while also resonating with today's listeners. We appreciate your understanding, and we're glad you enjoyed the Latin aspect! In matter of fact I have studied ancient Greek and Latin, thats why I like to use them in my songs. But many pronunciations are not quite as they spoke in the past, I try to modernize them to sound better.
