let me tell you something: do not hold your shifter when not shifting. it wears out the claws that hold your gear in because the vibrations of the car translate over to your transmission. the repair is quite costly.
Do you know how hard it is finding a decent smaller sized SUV in diesel for the normal US individual. Idk why diesel isn’t more supported for bigger vehicles here
Good job, well done! Some complain but you get it done, most people just keep it as it is since they dont want to pay for a pro job and then they complain when other do it themselves. I think it looks great! :)
Thats a pump/steering box problem not a hose problem. They don’t blow if the hydraulic steering pump system is working properly. My father has 300k on his. Never blew one.
2014 rwd. Mid mufflers replaced with race bullets. My console has the police version. Only thing that ducks is the 2.65 gears and rear end. Otherwise, best car ever. Paid 7200 and 800 auction fee.
I just got one of these myself, a 2014 Charger Pursuit which if i remember correctly was from the Kentucky State Police. It's been debadged and I'm worried about all the work and money I'm going to have to put into it to make it my daily driver, but it's really really fun to drive so I'm doing it. My question: were all 2014 charger pursuits AWD or did they make some that were RWD? The lot I'm buying mine from is telling me it's RWD but from what I'm finding online it's contradicting that. Any idea?
I watched your first C5 video back when I was "thinking about" changing my C4 for a C5. Well, I've had my 2001 C5 for almost 3 years now, and I'm sure you were in the back of my mind when the 'right' car popped up for sale. I don't make videos of my car - my 'spare time' disappears writing thrillers - but I have very much enjoyed a great many of your videos. Thank you.
Oooohhhrghn I saw one on a Dutch aution website.... im in love and more so with every video i watch on it ❤ my very firet car at 18 was a 98 vitara ❤❤❤ and I'm still in love with the design. Ive had two discoverys and a big ass American suv (escalade) but still prefer the more sturdy and modest models like vitara and the Evo 🤩 its absolutely perfect for what i want! Compact small SUV able to do light farm work and pull a horse trailer 👌🙏
Great video. If you go to a junkyard you can get a center console for $60 bucks from an RT or a Chrysler 300 which looks way better than that one. I did this with mind and I think it's looks great.
I own a fleet of 7.3 s . It is the only truck my company uses. I would chaulk this up to reading to many forums and not bring it to a pro shop from the begining. Everything that Ive seen go bad could have been fixed easy this a shop that knows what they are doing. There are millions of these truck around, nothing on them is a mystery to fix.
I have own a 1970 454 ci stingray, 1991 ZR1, 2002 C5 and for the past 14 years a 2005 C6. Love them all but I really enjoy the 2005 rag top. enjoyed the video.
I had the issue with the random steering wheel wobbling while driving. Ended up being the vacuum lines for the 4x4 engagement randomly activating one front wheel and throwing the entire truck off. Replaced all that and good as new.
I have a fully race prep RA, forged 470bhp engine and close ratio box. Never use it now, intended it as a track car but now worth too much (growing in value every year) too crash on the track. And it's useless on the road as the close ratio box is for acceleration only, you cannot cruise in it, so it's sits in my garage gathering dust but growing as an investment.
First impression.. I had to do a double take because I thought this was a younger 3dmachines Dalton video. Striking similarities. I miss Dalton's content and there is a wholesome nostalgia to this video. I'll be back for more for sure because of it. Great content!
Mine is a 2006 Monterey Red with black interior, Z51 3LT convertible. Everywhere she goes she gets compliments. Bought her in 07 w/under 1000 miles. The engine was modified and now is over 400 HP. I really don't need all those pony's. No plans to sell her, she's too great a car. She's a joy to drive and just plain fun. Chevy hit a home run with the C6.
