Thank you so much Jason, 4 years ago, this video unlocked something in my way to composing my own falsetas ! And today I see this video because RU-vid recommended me again ! So thank you again ! (sorry for the english mistake) From France, best regards !
Hi brother, I miss you. I just did 25 years directing my own company with Liliana Ruiz from Mexico. lots of concerts, VERY demanding. Then I got cancer and had to stop.
@@blanebostock damn that’s terrible news Blane. I’m building guitars. Got a job, got injured, quit playing, got fired, started building, healed, playing again. How about the crazy state of the world? I hope things improve bro
40 years ago I chose this music to be playing in the delivery room when my youngest son was born. For that I had to thank Torvill and Dean and I will forever be a tribute to them.
enjoyed your freestyle, a bit to much righthand rumble plucking in the recording, a certain frequency, youre almost there, its positive feedback, love you

Hi Jason, one of your students from many years ago. I still remember seeing you play for the first time in that Spanish restaurant in SF. Long live flamenco!!
Yes indeed. The people I worked with there made it great. I think most people who buy Fender would love the people behind the brand that put the soul into the product
It is possible that I wrote something wrong. I meant to say, that guitar can produce classical music and I like the sound of it. It still has some flamenco flavour to it's sound. It sounds interesting. Idk about golpeador being the only difference, flamenco guitars usually have lower action, consider fret buzz a feature, not a bug. Also they are braced differently by many factories and luthiers. Bracing pattern definitely should affect sound character, overtones, sustain, etc. Anyway you sound really good
Fantastic job! I remember that many years ago it was through your sevillans in F# and E major that I became acquainted with your work. I think you have a talent for writing - your music turn out to be extremely original!
And though they were sad They rescued everyone They lifted up the sun A spoonful weighs a ton Giving more than they had The process had begun A million came from one The limits now were none Being drunk on their plan, they lifted up the sun Forcing it off with their hands The trapdoor came undone Above our heads it swung The privilege had been won Being drunk on their plan, they lifted up the sun Yelling as hard as they can The doubters all were stunned Heard louder than a gun The sound they made was love Love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love (yes)
Hey Brother, Thanks so much for this video! You are a great inspiration musically to me and now I am inspired by your luthiers skills. Keep the awesome guitars and vids coming. One day I would love to own a 'Jason McGuire Negra' I will give you a call or text if thats okay and get some pricing from you. Many blessings to you and the family and the dogger🙏. Scott
playing classical guitar? 😂 You are the best non-gypsy gypsy.🤴 King, don't ask such simple questions. you are loved. I have been following you and admiring you since my childhood, king. Classical guitar passages seem like toys to you. I know you.
I miss you, Jason McGuire! I’ve been secretly envious of you, I have to say. You know my love for woodworking and for the flamenco guitar. I’ve often envisioned myself doing this same thing at some point down the road. Thanks for the inspiration, as always. Much love from Shanghai ❤
I’d love to visit Shanghai my brother. I miss you too. Building guitars has brought me profound happiness and has inspired me as a player in ways I could have never imagined. Don’t wait to build your first and then build another
Wonderful playing of beautiful music thank you. Daft question, you may as well ask can you play music on a guitar. But yes it worked. I watched all your video.
