God of fire bring your light, forger of sun help me now guardian of the shore will sleep , in your warmth lull the folk of cold water banish the serpents of the dark . to the river let me go , and fetch my son away !
Don't know 'bout you but Amorphis w/Pasi was 10 x better. Each song is like a beautiful painting. Not to mention he's one of the most talented men in metal. Shape of Despair gives me goosebumps ,then there's Ajattara ,etc. Wish we could have a beer together and talk about nonsense.
When I was a teenager my brother showed me this band. It was 18 years ago. I fell in love with them and felt so close to my brother having a band we both listened to together Amorphis is our thing. Ever album after I became an adult he bought for me to listen to on my own and when Spotify became a thing he shared songs and new albums all the time. This is my brothers favorite amorphis song. Mine is Brothers moon. A few months ago he suddenly passed away and not a day has passed that I haven’t missed him. I just wanted to immortalize a memory on this song. Rest in peace my dearest brother. I’ll keep listening and I’ll never forget. Hope everyone is well. Thank you Amorphis. Thank you for bringing my brother and I closer.
This is a fucking breakup! How could I be silent for twenty years?! This is the best that the metal world has given in an acoustic performance! Each guitar strum takes you beyond the sky and you swim in this calm river of perfect harmony. Perfect, unsurpassed, wonderful and unique!
Please voltures the mystery concerning battles that dismiss attribute regarding choice leading to class action dividing time entering and food to those harmless enough to become subtle to waiting for their goods conforming justice its place when all you ever wanted was to deal with less problems!
I retired a towering mountain Laid down in a circle of stones For three days and for three nights I listened to the skull of a bear The sun burnt its sigil into my chest The rain washed the evil away Time spun itself around me The moon cast its silvery shell I rose up in circle of stones Made my way down in the valley Followed the banks of a rushing river To a shore of and icy sea The great bear growled The thunder spoke The mountain shook The skies lit up They came carrying their torches Appeared from the desolate dark Approached me circling and swirling Howling their battle-cries That’s when the bear was born in me It rose on its legs beside From a distance the crack of thunder And the red cloud swallowed the sky I rose up in circle of stones Made my way down in the valley Followed the banks of a rushing river To a shore of and icy sea And in the furthest corner of the North On the edge of the world we know With open arms embracing them And I bared them my heart of hearts Under the red cloud
Behold this man on the road The burden that he holds He lost it all but still he carries on The dead are left behind On the road of pain and grief Promises have been broken Once again he's been deceived Homeless man he is A wanderer without a hope Why this heavy burden What does he seek Homeless man he is Searching for his dreams Why this heavy burden Lost all his beliefs The Spirit Roams Behold today the face of this man He smiles now as he knows He's burden starts to slowly fade away He laughs at himself Now it's easy to let go, of futile and the needless To let it lie, to let it go
