Probably just a design study. I don't see the space for the big hydrogen tanks they would need for 400 miles of range. And I wonder, if the needed light and powerful fuel cells already exist. High power means high weight. Would be cool though, but I suppose, we won't see such aircrafts in use in near future.
Hydrogen gas can be compared unlike a liquid making it more space efficient plus fuel calls are lighter than a combustion engine and thay are several kind of fuel cells with defarant weight and efficiencys it's probably more capable than your something
@@alexhail9971 ??? Even liquid hydrogen needs much more space per energy content than hydrocarbons like kerosene. Gaseous compressed hydrogen even more. 1 liter of diesel contains the same energy as 7 liters of hydrogen at 700 bar. And the combination of fuel cells and electric motors isn't lighter than gas turbines, which are mainly used for aircrafts. Referring to power.
