You are the first blade Smith I've seen that does sloosh their blades up and down and remove it from the oil and it goes into a flame ball. I've always thought taking the blade out and in affects the hardness of the blade.

These kinds of forging videos are absolutely gold. Little to no talking at all, just the ambience of the forge, the press, the hammering. Straight up gold :)
Reminds me of an Arkansas Toothpick, only better. Crazy workmanship. I’d be ecstatic if I could make just a blade. Never mind all the other things you did to this knife. 😮 It’s a beautiful thing.

The blade is gorgeous and the file work is awesome, but the handle looks too skinny and needed some sort of pommel to balance it all out visually (and probably physically as well). Great effort.
So much time and attention to detail it’s amazing. But I don’t know what’s better the knife or the whistling! One of my fav parts of the video!!!! Is any of your work for sale?
