@@AlMagmaGaming Nice, they wouldn't be used on something this small, but probably a Radial engine like the early Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp engines used in the F4U Corsair
There were shotgun starters on small tractors like this. At least one I know was the Marshal series 2. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rsrQJELitxQ.htmlsi=H2SXUfWTZnn9bGVG
@@AlMagmaGaming I missed the probably in my sentence it seems I know they were used on some of them, but I was kinda referring to how they would usually be found on higher displacement engines
hello, I did the same thing by myself a couple weeks ago and i was able to squeeze out a fair chunky bit of torque with almost identical gearbox setup. It turns out that the clutch gears can be a little moody sometimes
Hi man, I think it would be nice to hook up the blades directly to the engine through a clutch since that's how it would be IRL instead of the drive train
Hey just so you know I'm subscribed love the stream there are fans that watch can you make an old car like a 1959 Cadillac I was asking keep up the good work you awsome youtuber
@AIMagmaGaming you can test my creatrions? e.c. my newest tracked vehicle also collision detection set on off for stable fps with a lot free parts connected to axles also I test you tracked vehicle and a light buging when a long steer on one side(maybe older version without rear support) and gearing are perfect.
@@AlMagmaGaming you can use e.c. name Maluch or fiat 126p and can go to my account and select creations if you want e.c. Esiok, Maluch(Fiat 126p), Star 200, and more.
@christojojo4433, you can use scaffolding blocks. They allow everything to be a simgle creation, but detatch as soon as you spawn it out of build mode.
What about upgrading all stock vehicles (like the tractor) and giving them new proper engines Maybe even the helicopter could have combustion engine just to make electricity for motors that spin props
I don't think I am ready to start experimenting with flight, but Doing a sort of "Rebuild" series for the default vehicles would be fun. I'm just not sure if I would try to reuse the existing shells and just put a new drivetrain in, or completely rebuild from the ground up.
List of stock of interesting vehicles lacking new engines: Monster truck (it needs monster engine!) Three vee (old trike car) Old Tractor (has fake piston engine) Dually truck (pickup truck)
i was wondering what you think about other kinds of tank desighn? like you have a relatively realistic way of making tanks, where as me and some friends do in a way that is more optimised for scrapmachanic. stuf like mostly metal 3 mixed with parts to make better armor(i get why you would not use this sinds it can become unfair), often we dont even use wheels and just slide around with thrusters cause it gives less lag(we do a lot to not have lag)
things like this are reasons why i keep coming back to scrap mechanic. its like our own world of progressive building and learnig like when making the first air plane to now. i tried making airplanes back in 2021, coming up with ideas that didnt get off the ground to finally making a gyrostable rocket that could change directions by boosting the rear one way or another. since this video is 3 years old im kind of sad that more physics for water and air havent been impemented into the game yet but its cool to see, even if controling the plane is basically a glitch, that flying is possible in game
When it comes to gears. Small>Large = more torque Large>Small = more speed So you can try a gear, If it is too weak, use a smaller drive gear and a larger driven gear. If it is over revving, use a larger drive gear and a smaller driven gear.
Thank you. Suspension hasn't exactly been my strong point. I understand alot of mechanical concepts to a vague degree, but suspension geometry is one I wasn't really good with.
Im not too sure about that, though. It can't do curves perfectly, but that's part of the art. Trying to fit panels and peices to sqeeze a little extra detail out. If everything was a square, then nothing would stand out.
@@AlMagmaGaming there's a lot of blocky cars that really look nothing alike. It's all in nuance and execution.Great job btw. Any trailmakers content incoming?
I'm so envious of that body. I unfortunately have an engineer's mind and I can create an automatic gearbox that's based on RPM and not load using differentials, ackerman steering, almost any wheel geometry that's viable within GB's resolution, but whenever I try to encase that in a body it's a niiiiightmare that I wake up from midway and never come back to. Seeing that body and those internals makes me roughly equal to a monkey without a banana seeing another monkey that has a banana.
Do some scenarios or some soap box challenges the process of getting things done is entertaining and add some footage of making the car here and there it's really fun watching your videos Driving without talking is still boring since we are not the one who is driving 😅
