Actually no, some of it is B course footage at Nellis. Called a TDY you dolt. Yes, the FTUs do them. The uploader of the vid is aircrew, pretty sure he knows where the footage is compiled from.
The B-course entails conversion, emergency, instrument tasks and day and night air-to-air refueling. The students are also educated on basic low altitude employment, night and night vision goggle employment, air-to-ground and air-to-air mission tasks as for a course i haven't actually heard anything like that so idk hope this helps tho

Yes, because it makes me feel better knowing when the guy dropping a Mk 82 danger close is only in that position because he met a quota. Like how it makes me feel better know that there’s that 1 white guy listed as a receiver on the football team. Makes me feel so much better than having the best player out there. ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻 How bout we just have the BEST person in the job rather than try to hit quotas?
Have you ever considered the fact that out of his graduating class for selection that he may have filled that slot because he was actually qualified for it. And they give you multiple options it's called A Dream sheet, and you can put more than one type of aircraft you want to train for ., and based on your evaluation grades and your own preference that determines what you get and the needs of the force determine where you go next

At least he had skills and commitment to be good enough to pass the course., you seem to forget that he had already passed undergraduate pilot training, and based on his performance and recommendation of his instructors., his own request sheet for next Duty station and the needs of the service they felt this was the best place... he graduated and that's the whole point
Just a question:Do pilots and WSOs go through the same schoolhouse (333rd FS) or do they go to different schoolhouses (if so,where is the WSO schoolhouse?)

Air Force pilots start their flying career at one of several training bases like Shephard, Laughlin, Vance or Goodfellow AFB's. Then they go to their respective aircraft training units. The F-15E school house is Seymour Johnson AFB and the F-15C/D schoolhouse is 173rd FW at Portland Oregon, Oregon ANG
@@cdyjv118 I'm an Air Force Veteran who began serving at the end of the Cold war, and for decades the backseater in F-15E, F-4, etc were called WSO's (Whizzo's). I'm not sure how long the CSO acronym has been around, or what young minded person created it, but the correct term is WSO!!
@@jrftworth CSO (Combat Systems Officer) is an umbrella term for what used to be the Navigator career field and applies to every airframe, where as WSOs apply to specific airplanes that employ like the Strike Eagle (like you said), bombers, AC130s, etc.
@@dazin7886 I dont think this is an acutal b course video. That being said the aircraft are from Seymour Johnson in Goldsboro NC. That is where the B course is held.
The footage seems to be a bunch of videos compiled into one. There are several clips I have seen from other videos. Also several of the jets are from lakenheath which does not have a B course.
