Hope that guy ain’t still driving for knight because I seen stuff that should have failed him on road test not stopping at stop signs shifting in intersections
I completed my bachelor's degree while living in my car, I spent the better part of 5 years traveling around Latin America, and I became fluent in Spanish at 25 years of age. I am currently enrolled in an alternative teaching program to teach Spanish, but as I will be waiting a year to get into the classroom, I've decided to get my CDL. A company will be paying for my training and I will be creating videos during the process and sharing as much as I can for everyone else out there interested in driving! I begin on the 31st, so feel free to connect with me regarding anything! Take care.
10:23, the instructions were to go straight. Not use turning signal to change lanes without instructor direction. Imo. He's also not saying anything about road conditions and potential hazards audibly to let the instructor know that he is thinking about these things. Curious to see the pre-inspection presentation from this driver.
All my tests are coming up this Wednesday, Nov. 9th and I feel like I dont know shit. Im driving 1 hour to the DMV to fail, and drive 1 hour back home.
What is this a joke video? Nothing in this video pertains to real-world trucking. You should be setting up jams and u-turns and teaching drivers how to get out of a mess so that they don't end up on bonehead truckers. This training shit is a joke and you assholes know it.
This must be at the Phoenix terminal? I took mine in Nashville! Ty was a pretty awesome fella to work with! And my trainer Joe was a cool cat! Still keep in touch with him all the time!
Trainer in passenger seat could be more friendly and talk or say something besides driver turn just tell him directions without saying driver he's very annoying if I was driving I would not like this trainer
@@keithrowell8895 oh my goodness!! I went to sitton orientation they assigned me a truck and I went and looked at it and I left....I don't remember their road test being that long ... Maybe because I went with you know years of experience under my belt. If you've been driving that long do you remember the trucking company they called the skinny chicken??
@@meanwhile4308.I drove 15 years before I started driving there. Remember Steve. Big heavy set man.i Drove for them until the closed there doors. Had to take a road test every 2 years after I started. We all did
@@keithrowell8895 Well, when I went to their orientation it was around 1997... So no, I don't recall any of the people . P. S. I do remember their dispatch window...some guy with a beard and dark hair ...and the whit truck they assigned me ..
This guy took his hand off the wheel to wave at another trucker during a road test. Automatic fail! And he didn’t call out any hazards and his left turns were incorrect. He aimed for the left lane instead of the far right.
True, he didn’t called any signs even when going under the bridge. And took his hand off the wheel and waved. But that’s a person instant but have to very carefully when taking the text. And he took the right turn in the wrong lane. But did a very good job buy driving. Just some little minor points. I’m planning on taking my road trip soon. But good video
Test tomorrow. Anxiety & unaware of examiner demeanor & posture. Thanks to this post i have an idea of what to expect , & how I must project & perform. Thanx
If you get everything perfect on one side, then go to the other side and say” now I’m going to explain everything on this side as I did the other” 95 percent of the time. They won’t make you explain everything on the other side if you nail one side. Engine area and in cab needs to be done no matter what. When I do my pti, I always put a dime on the tread. If you can see half to full face on the coin, you need to replace your tires. Good thing to remember. He never mentioned steering wheel to see if it had any play. He forgot to turn the wipers on and off to make sure they are in good working order and the blade is not torn or missing. What about the batteries, he didn’t check them. He should have checked the trailer permit, to make sure it was there and not torn or missing. Be sure an learn that pre trip. Sometimes, officers will pull you over just to see if you know your pre trip. If you don’t, you won’t like the outcome.
He keeps picking the wrong lane and literally NOBODY drives that slow. That was dreadful. That's why I hate road tests. That was so unproductive on a realistic level.
@@seanmcguire6011 I do my work the way it needs to be done and my company is happy with my performance. I don't think improper turns and going too slow is safer or better.
The designer of that truck has never driven in one of those for at least 3 years. That looks so uncomfortable like he needs air shocks on that seat!and air can!
I’m just studying for my permit, but is it normal to stop so far from the white line at intersections? And to slow down that slow when preparing to make turns? I mean this guy was at 5mph 300ft from the turn. Or is it just a “no reason to go faster while being tested”
