Welcome! Join us every week as we go on another adventure. If you're researching for the perfect cruise, excursion, or adventure then you are at the right place. We hope you find our videos educational and informative!
Great video but I had to watch it with the volume turned down. Sadly, the accordion in that "music" became very irritating after a few minutes. I'm a Caribbean musician and that sound track is NOT island calypso/soca. Other than that again great video and editing!👍
We’ve never stayed in Havana. I can only imagine that it must be great! We have sailed on Horizon 3 times so far with more booked in the future. Let us know how your cruise goes in August. Have fun and stay safe!
Thanks for sharing. We just booked OS 7375 on Horizon. The electrical outlets being so faraway from the sitting area and the bed will be a challenge I hope to resolve before our sail date.
It can be a challenge. We’ve bought 10 foot cords for our phones and make sure our laptops are fully charged before using them and recharge while not in use! On newer ships (Celebration & Jubilee) power outlets are more plentiful.
I don’t think so. I remember an announcement being made about a delay in the refueling process. It was a nice change from the typical sail away though. Seeing Miami at night was pretty awesome!
What's the name of this excursion. I would like to purchase this when I go on my cruise in August. There's a couple of different ones on the side. Please let me know. Thank you.
We think it was simply an “double decker open air bus tour of St Maarten”. If you choose to do a similar excursion, especially in August, it is going to be HOT. We sat on the on the lower deck so we wouldn’t be directly in the sun and we still almost melted. If they offer air conditioning buses for tours I would go with that, but that’s just us.
We took a whale excursion with Glacier Wind Charters in Icy Strait and on our first cruise with NCL the week before our Miracle cruise we took another whale excursion in Juneau and saw numerous whales. We also saw whales from the balcony of the cruise ships. Our first Alaska cruise was on NCL at the end of July and early August. The Miracle cruise was 3 days later in early August. If you haven’t watched the whole series of Alaska episodes on NCL Bliss and Carnival Miracle make sure to do that! We can’t wait to go back!
You’re very welcome! This is the reason why we have the tours. When we started cruising this is how we learned about the ships and what excursions to go on.
I'm really sensitive to smoke smells, so it would have left a big impression on me if I would have smelled smoke anywhere other than the casino or designated smoking areas. Now, I will say that sometimes, on certain other ships, we would get an exhaust smell. As for the activities, I guess it really depends on the individual if they participate in the activities or not, but there was plenty of things to do during our cruise.
It was absolutely beautiful. I wish we could have spent more time there. We didn’t get to visit some of the park, but hopefully, if we get to return, we’ll see all of it. Thanks for subscribing!
The scenery in Yellowstone National Park is really stunning. I have never traveled there, but it has become my travel list and I will go there in my spare time. I saw your work, are you currently traveling and good at photographing such beauty?
Thank you! I didn’t see much in the way of cabin reviews for accessibility. It may be out there somewhere, but this video just adds to the helpful information for those that may need it. Enjoy your cruise!
Eventually they stopped by themselves. If you look closely in the video you can tell when the strobe stopped. I thought there was a problem with my video until I realized that it was actually the strobe light making the interference.
@@youmeandtheseatravels I had a room like that, but the room attendant didn't know how to turn it off. I don't want it doing that at all! The light is for the deaf, and the vibration is for the blind of which I am neither! My disability is limbs.
@@rgruenhaus that would be a great question for the room stewards. There is a key “switch” under the emergency buttons at the door maybe it can be turned off. Maybe next time you can get a more knowledgeable room steward, we’ve learned that some have better knowledge of the rooms they attend than others.
@@youmeandtheseatravels my last cruise was in JUNE 2019 ON NCL DAWN to CANADA and back from NYC! i am in NY! i had such a great time! and on my shore excursions! I was on another brief cruise YEARS ago with my aunt and we took some ship over from FL to FREEPORT BAHAMAS. IDR which one it was....it was def a ship and i was surprised by the ship's pool when i jumped in! it was salt water!! NOT chlorine! 😂😂
THE NCL DAWN has them too, the little fishes....That was always an easy way to help you out. That was one of the first things i noticed when i got on the ship and headed toward our cabin!
We were on an NCL ship a few years back and the carpet was being replaced with no fish and I was lost, lol. When we go on other cruise lines I have to pay more attention. 😂
Thanks! We try and show most of the ship, except the kid's area for obvious reasons. We like to go through the ship as if we had never cruised before. That's actually how we learn about a ship before we cruise on it.
@@EM_ARCHER We usually spend our sea days exploring and recording. I spend a couple of hours a day editing in addition to all of the other things I do in a day.
I just found out that the NCL pearl also a small bowling alley too! I am booked to be on the NCL PEARL in MARCH 2025..... while looking through the NCL PEARL on line.....when i saw a picture of the bowling lanes....it looked like it was next to a dance floor/bar club?? either way....pretty kool to have a bowling lane or 2!!
We were on the NCL Bliss for our first Alaska cruise. Have been on Carnival the last two cruises, a 2nd Alaska cruise and now in Mexico. I also only cruised NCL for years but have had some bad experiences, so we decided to branch out and compare different cruise lines.
@@youmeandtheseatravels Interesting! I saw I think 9427 and it did. But it just flips over so same length. I was just curious for my mother-in-law. Thanks!
Señor Paletas its for sure a must stop!😋 Old San Juan such a beautiful city. But its just the tip of the iceburg... Puerto Rico has 78 municipalities. So much to do and around Island🏝🇵🇷 Good job📽
