Was not really seeing these as anything special until I saw one of the examples here slightly angled to the side. That is what makes this special. Show that angle on all of these!
Bianca is one of my good buddies, She used to live with my girlfriend, was her roommate, it's never a boring day when Bianca is present, and if you are reading this Bianca, Colleen and I still think about you and you are always welcome to join us in our shenanigans! :)
People.....the hanging hardware MUST be added before you add the last side of the frame! Your printed instructions on this are just as defective as your passing comment in this video. WHY?
One of my picture frames is like this one. What can I use as a stabilizer for the bottom corners since there is no solid backing to this type of frame?
You're a life saver! Working a framing desk and super behind on time and my point driver ran out and took me like 10 minutes of stupidly trying to refill it! I'm very dumb lol you're the best
This was so helpful! If I could add one comment, it would be to mention that the corner hardware has those two pieces, and the one with the holes goes in front. It seems intuitive after the fact, but it took me a second to realize you grabbed two pieces, particularly at like 0:40. Thanks so much for this excellent video!
Like the equation - makes it foolproof! One thing I've always done is to cut biscuit slots in each side of the miter to align the miters and additional glue strength. I also cut and glue keys in each of the 4 corners vs nails and putty which always falls out over time!
Are these safe to use directly on printed photos or collectible cards (assuming the print has dried)? I love the idea of a clear acrylic frame but I worry about the possibility of the ink on a trading card somehow binding to the acrylic over time.
El marco flotante enmarca muy bien la pintura. Hay reproducciones de formato grande de 50cmx121 cm, en papel canson 230 grms. donde podria obtener informacion para el enmarcado de esas obras, gracias.
My big thing ...is. Frames are not complicated. If you want a frame and it's not for canvas, it can still be used. Canvas can be mounted on thin material to fit ANY frame. Paper can be placed on canvas stretchers just like canvas to frame in a canvas frame or metal
The problem with gluing free-floating sides is that they can be misaligned from being flat. I prefer laying the whole frame flat on the work table, and using clamps that allow the frame to lie flat, like spring C-clamps.
And next he’ll go cut the lawn with one hand, checking the time and wearing that 3-piece while smoking a pipe. All kidding aside, looks like a well thought out product.
Very nicely done video with good pacing and easy to follow procedures. But FWIW the list of tools required refers to a Phillips Head screwdriver. Whoops ! That's a flat heat screwdriver . The minute you start to assemble the frame this little error will become obvious. : ))
