I hope you all enjoy the ride along as I modify, build an race my 2013 MK6 VW Golf TDI. I'm stoked for what the future holds, hopefully add some more cars to the fleet, get a shop and bring you all some great VW content, if any of you ever have any questions, I respond to all comments so feel free to ask whatever. -Team: Eurofam/EuroCulture -Apparel: Elite NW -Instagram: Jaredstdi -Snapchat: mxkidz -Twitter: Jaredsmk6
You got a cool build , I'm building my mk6 as well . My dog is my kid , and wants to do whatever I do , Goes where ever I go . Take what ya want from this comment , I would never exclude my dog out of a video if I were to make one . Hope all works out well for your build .
I totally understand your comment, I try to get him in some videos just that one I was trying to talk an explain and he can be a bit much sometimes, that’s why I let him in part of the video, he’s in the ends of some of my videos and stuff too, he’s a good dog!🫶🏼
hi I also have a golf 6 2.0 tdi stage and recently I have had shaking at idle from time to time I checked the injector change the silent blocks check vcds and no problem I'm not sure what to sand if you have one idea that would be cool thank you
08:19 Is that rear bumper the default/stock one from 2.0 tdi or is it swapped by the GTI one? I know u got ur front from R but the rear one looks different from mine which is the TDI. Love your mods and ur car, can't wait for more videos! 😋🔥
Long story short, it’s cheaper to have the car insured on my parents insurance cause I’m still under 26 years old, but they didn’t want me to have it fixed, it’s dumb so I just have to pay out of pocket
im gonna buy a 2014 golf tdi 1.6 soon, and i want to start buying parts aswell, wanna make my first ride as good looking as possible, i have some questions as i dont know alot about cars. Q1: Where do i get good quality parts relaitvely cheap that ships to norway? Q2: Tuning of cars is illegal in norway, is it the same in america and how big of a risk is it to be caught? Q3: will it be expensive to go to a mechanic so they can put on parts for me?
Most companies should ship there! What’s your budget like? An there’s different laws in different states here. An yes it would be expensive at a shop an most shops don’t install diesel aftermarket parts cause then they are liable when it’s found changed at least that’s how it is here. I live outside the city a bit so it’s registered in a county where there is no emissions but I’m gonna take it in to see if it passes for shits an giggles, I did all the work myself. Also I recommend 3 companies Malone Tuning/ Rawtek/ Darkside Developments
@@jaredriley1326 so, maybe budget per month is 400€ and by mechanics, i meant putting on exterior parts, i should have been more specific on that, not engine parts. Maybe it is as expensive as putting on engine parts. But i will check out the ones you listed, thank you.
No not at all, roof rack was great, it’s Yakima Q clips an towers kinda a older setup but worked great! And I respond to every single comment, always, unless it’s hate comments lol
I actually just got it at a car show, it’s just a “universal suede shift boot” I’m sure you could find it on eBay super easy, thank you very much btw, hopefully that helps!
@@trentadams2406 just look up on eBay, “universal alcantara shift boot cover” or something along those lines an you’ll find it, I mean you gotta type whatever color thread you’d want so yeah
New drinking game, everytime there is a "Uhm" or "uh". Good video though, debating on buying a TDI right now. Dislike the golf R badge though, posing as what you aren't. A TDI is dope enough.
I’ll just take this as constructive criticism lol, and the grill has a outline place for the emblem so it would look ridiculous if it wasn’t there I’d have to get a new grill, and I plan on making it awd so idk I think it will be fitting once that’s done and it will be one off for sure, I love the car honestly, great mpg, super fun, plenty of power!
@@private9407 honestly mine rips, way quicker then a friends GTI and Tiguan, but I haven’t got full numbers yet, a while ago I ran a 14.9 1/4 mile and I got a shit start lol, but honestly 0-60 I’d say is a solid 6 seconds give or take. And I’d say it’s got around (200hp or more and 350+ tq) with just simple bolt ons, I want to dyno it soon!
@@jaredriley1326 yeah. Just hard to let go of 370whp and sell it for less than it's worth just to get a daily lol. Gotta post it high and hope for the best
@@jaredriley1326 it's basically the suspension and breaks from the gti and a couple of trim pieces different it's based from the cars they raced in the tdi division
@@jaredriley1326 ah okay that's what I thought ^^ does your golf still have dpf built in or did you removed it? because here in Germany it would be illegal to drive around without dpf - you could even get arrested for that ! 😂
@@esistdume No it’s fully straight piped, here in the us it is illegal but only if you live in the city, if you live outside the city there’s county’s/regions that don’t have (deq) that is testing to make sure your car is not smoking and no check engine lights etc.
Hi did you have to do any wiring for the Day time LED lights? Got a golf with the fog light and was thinking of converting the bumper but didn’t know if I had to do wiring?
I actually don’t have the LED day running lights, my fogs are LED but I can only turn the fogs on with my headlights on, I had my buddy use his little obd2 thing an code it to where I can use the fogs with my brights on though, so that’s nice.
@@sweis12 Well yeah, there’s multiple, it costed more, I wanted to feel the difference and I’m stage 2 now and about to go stage 3 so I don’t see why you’d ever go straight to stage 2/3 that’s not fun lol. It only costed me 50$ extra after I got my stage 1 tune and I didn’t have stage 2 supporting mods at the time I feel like, yeah I had a Downpipe but no intake and nothing else, it’s now stage 2+ for sure.
@@jaredriley1326 that makes sense. I bought everything together at the same time on black friday sale last year. I got the rawtek exhaust , stage 2 tune, s&b intake all at the same time so I installed it all at once. It really did wake up the car. Im looking to go stage 3 or 4 soon depending on the turbo I go with.
@@sweis12 Nice, yeah I just didn’t wanna break my bank at the time, and also wanted to do other mods, but yeah I’m about to go big turbo/tubular manifold/cp3 fuel pump/and injectors from darkside developments and that should be a lot of fun.
"The cars super dirty at the minute"......... Seriously? You seriously think THAT'S dirty? I've just checked the log book ("Pink slip"?) for my mk6, and under the filth, it's........ Erm........... Apparently red. :D
GTI Junkie I wanted to just get it done and not break my bank, stage 1 is plenty of fun and I can upgrade the tune whenever I want to, which will be here soon as I’m getting a new clutch and a few other things then I’ll up the tune. For now it’s great!
