Excuse me, you’re only going for 44 hours according to your post. You don’t need to bring half of the grocery store with you. Your snack selections, and food selections in my opinion are absolutely ridiculous. You’re spending more money on junk than what you would be spending on the train itself in my opinion. I really have to shake my head sometimes when I see posts like yours. Thinking that that you’re offering valid alternatives to the ordinary traveller. I think it’s time for you to go back to the drawing board myself.
which item is junk exactly? these items are much healthier than eating the food that can be bought on the train. i find this comment quite rude. the train ticket definitely cost more than the food.
Sorry, not impressed with your selection. For starters go with all none refrigerated items. That way you don't have a large (and ultimately empty) freeze pack to deal with. Also I'd go with single serve items as their containers and wrappers can be disposed with when you are done with them. Subway style sandwiches are good for lunch and dinner, buy a footlong and have half for each meal.
lol thanks for your opinion. the freeze pack was from the dollar store so not a big loss and the bag is super easy to flatten and put at the bottom of suitcase after use.
Jess, good video! You are very thorough, and your planned food ideas should be more than enough to get you to Reno. You mentioned that you like to eat a lot, and we can see that. Now I see that your post is two years old, so I guess your trip has long been completed.
Boy I bet you feel like a special kind of stupid huh? Those shot s are clot shots and will kill you, bet you aren't doing very well huh, we told you, don't do it., you had do the dumbest thing ever! I really want to know if you're alive or dead?? Check out died suddenly
boarding the train Wednesday at 5:30 am... will be stopping at trader joe's tomorrow (Tuesday) for 96% of your ideas... I just am not a huge fan of avacados.....
Great ideas! I am traveling on the train for 20 hours and I was planning on bringing snacks. I try and eat healthy so I loved all your suggestions. The avocado idea is brilliant! I’m definitely doing that.
We freeze bottled water (4) to put in the bottom of our freezer bag. They stay frozen for quite a while, keeping everything cool. You can take them out to thaw, giving you fresh water.
@@AfterCoffeeWithJess awesome. I’ve flown transatlantic to Frankfurt on United and to Paris on American via Dallas Fort Worth. My itinerary got changed bc American Airlines had issues in the summer of 2021 (as were many other airlines) and this September I’ll be flying from ohare to Copenhagen direct on SAS, so we’ll see how that goes.
Can see this was a good while ago but I got diagnosed with Gerd 3 years ago. Taking Nexium/Lanzol/Pantoflux since then. One stops working the doc prescribes another. Now im in the middle of Gerd flare up and its been torture. The throat and chest pain has me floored. Had to take time off work but the doc gave me muscle relaxers as i said i had back pain. Problem is my breathing gets so bad when i get a flare up i always get short of breath then i exaggerate it and my lungs hurt. Last time this went on for weeks. I honestly cant handle that. Thank you for the vids
i am so sorry to hear you're dealing with this. i understand your pain, it is very difficult. i hope some of the tips in the video can provide some relief. if you are able to see a naturopathic doctor, i highly recommend as she was the only person able to help me find improvement.
I had an endoscopy/colonoscopy and had to drink this thing call bi peg lite it tasted like flat pop. The first 1l had to be drank within two hours it made me puke. And then I had to drink another 1l the day of the procedure And my body kept it down. The procedure caused me a lot of anxiety beforehand. The actual procedure went so quick I was awake but calm because of sedation. The results said Normal but biopsies were sent in. Next week I’m talking to my family dr about the results and again freaking out. I’m so thankful for these endoscopy and colonoscopy videos people have done.
