How big is the Solar System? What actually orbits our Sun? Why should I even be interested in space? On this channel, we'll answer these and a whole host of other questions. We will have a series dedicated to each of our planets and showcase beautiful images and videos captured by probes and spacecraft of our amazing Solar System.

The double slit experiment means NOTHING. If you place a detector behind a single slit, it does the EXACT same thing. Without a detector and a single slit, you also get a wave pattern, but with a detector, you dont. The second slit means NOTHIONG

This is great and all but, and this might be my 2024 brain talking, but i don't see how anyone could send anything to that place. Sure, its one thing to build probes to send to the Sun or Mars or Pluto but its another deal to send something to another system. And let's even talk about the money, the politics and so on. I just don't see it for humanity. But, whatever makes you happy.

That sounds like the Spartan program on Halo. That would be cool to have an actual Spartan program we new high technological technologies, but however use it for getting criminals and gangs off the streets and use them during peace time duties too. Using actual Spartans can save lives, Dr Catherine Halsey said that in the Halo stories lore.

I do like watching and learning about space exploration, we need to go out there and do it, instead of talking about, we have the technology and the resources. Why are we not putting it together? That is the question.

Another beautiful video. I do wish, though, that humans didn't restrict the idea of life to our thin, localised surmise of it. We cannot truly know what "life" is when we only have examples of it based on earth's chemistry. Whilst searching for other planets similar to Earth might seem a good idea, personally I think we should be looking everywhere, in every conceivable place and climate, because we are simply too small and limited to ever understand what is possible, and what we may find.

Wonderful choice of topic for a video, Alex. For an ever-curious layperson like me who loves nothing more than pondering the Fermi Paradox, the idea of learning even a little bit about this closest of exoplanets is guaranteed a happy audience. It's so frustrating that the distances are so vast. Every time I ponder the notion of learning more about these far-distant worlds, I keep telling myself that a precondition of us finding out is that humanity MUST find a way to settle into a stable and sustainable way of functioning so that we have a chance to enact long-lasting missions. We need to have a society and culture planet-wide that is free of the sorts of chronic wars, inqualities and disturbances that currently plague us. If we can somehow find a way to mature as a species and find a balance with our resources and balancing our respective needs and wants; we have a chance to survive into the far future and if that's the case, then I'd say the sky is the limit. Imagine living in a world where the notion of humans fighting other humans is seen as appalling, unthinkable even. At the moment, it'd probably take an actual alien invasion to bring us together as a species. In this made-up future, we would stop spending resources on defence and offence and instead on bettering the lives of ourselves and our kin. With a massive reduction in regional and global tensions, we'd be able to plan for the sorts of exploration and scientific missions that would far exceed the lifespan of any single person. Perhaps when linked with a sense of scientific 'pride' we could inspire folk to contribute to the building of missions that they themselves won't live to see finished; but will nonetheless feed an inner sense of pride every bit as motivating as winning awards or earning of millions of dollars. Anyway, I'm ranting here because I'm inspired - again, great choice of video. May we one day find ourselves poring over detailed images of this distant world....

*We frame everything for our prospective and we are very small limited thinkers. The only logical answer is we are only one of other infinite bag bangs. The universe is endless and time never had a beginning and will never end. The only changes is the conversion of energy to matter and back again, forever meaning the universe is never the same but always changing shape and form through space.*

so a wormhole is not a portal in space at all but really a portal in time. you could make it function like a space portal if it transports you far enough in time because the universes arrangement of matter would be different when you come out ie space expansion and the movement of matter may make you come out where a completely different part of the universe now is (or used to be) thereby making it KIND OF a space portal
