He looks to be running an ultrawide if I'm not mistaken. I run a 34" wide with 42-44 FOV. I'd guess his FOV is between 38 and 44, if you're running a standard monitor anywhere from 44 - 48 FOV, but it's all personal preference :)
So after watching a few of your races, I made the decision to move away from gran turismo and race more on assetto corsa and I think I made the best decision lol. Yes gran turismo is the pioneer of racing simulators, but ACC and rFactor2 and the upcoming Le Mans Ultimate, have much more impact on realism than the entire gran turismo series. I just love racing around with the Ferrari 296 GT3 and the Porsche 992 GT3, absolutely love those cars. I still practice whenever I can on ACC and I can say I’m definitely improving after each session.
I ran a test offline to compare tailwind vs headwind (down the straight) with all other things being equal. There's at most one second difference (in favor of the tailwind) over the whole lap in the Honda, mid-8:04 vs mid-8:05 times on decent laps significant mistakes. I'm pretty sure that the Lambo should be similar , so your 3s slower laptimes were because of something else. That might be the same thing I experienced on Saturday when I could barely do a 8:07 lap in the race no matter how hard I tried

Hi Jon, was not on the stream so I am watching this in post. To me the Aston and lambo are definitely at fault 100%. Nice driving on your part though. And Please give the BMW M4 another chance
