Thank you! Let’s not make excuses for not working hard on flexibility, mobility and strength to be good stewards of our bodies, temples of the Holy Spirit. And breathing in Gods forgiveness, grace, redemption, love and breathing out anger, greed, materialism, etc. ❤
This "Christian yoga" is a scam. An adultered version of the Hindu yoga. If you'll don't want to say "om" then stop doing "yog" all together rather than doing this ripped off half assed knock off version of yog.
There’s a difference between thinking you have no value in knowing you have no value, and I know I have no value The only value I have is my body, and every day it becomes more worthless. Every cigarette I smoke it becomes more garbage. My blood isn’t even worth anything anymore. Because I smoked weed for so much that if I died today, my blood would be so saturated with THC. It would be completely unuseable for scientific research.
While this is a minor point in this message, I wonder if the offering that Cain brought was not really the problem, but rather the a lack of faith that accompanied it. I suspect that even if Cain had brought flesh and blood offerings just like those of his brother, they would not have been any more acceptable. But Ken is certainly right this: if Cain would have just been honest (authentic!) with his Creator (and with himself!), things would have turned out very differently!
You are a fit young man. I am 68, and would be even more decrepit than I am already if I did not at least go through the physical exercises of yoga each day. You want to know on what/whom my mind is focused when I do that in the morning? On our local Sun Goddess Chaxiraxi (don't try to pronounce that!) As it happens, my apartment faces East, so I can see the Sun rise, if I get up early enough. Who is Chaxiraxi? I hear you ask. Well, I live in Tenerife (Canary Islands). She has been our Sun Goddess since like forever, but way back in the 15th century (before we were colonized), a small wooden statuette of the Virgin Mary was deposited (by shipwreck or just possibly by design) on our eastern shore by a Portuguese ship. The locals took it to be a (miraculous?) manifestation or representation of the Goddess, and treasured it as an object of high esteem and worship. Nearly a century later, when the island was definitively colonized, the Catholic Church reclaimed it, and though the original has now (I think) been lost, a copy of it it still venerated as the Virgen de Candelaria. Big procession twice a year. With my morning exercises, am I worshipping the goddess Chaxiraxi, or honouring the mother of Jesus? In all honesty, I'm happy to remain ambiguous about it. Mix'n'match. As I understand it, you are a Protestant (though not one of the really crazy ones), so I guess my ambiguity/”syncretism” must be rather troubling for you. But as a Catholic, I don't really hope to catch more than a glimpse of God from the corner of my eye, and if either the Virgin Mary or our old goddess Chaxiraxi can help me do so, so much the better.
What about the Catholic Church and the raping of thousands and thousands of children? What about Islam and the persecution of women and gays and minorities. What about the use of Christianity to condone the African slave trade! What about all the holy wars in the crusades? You realize religion has a brutal history of life and death clashes over clearly made up ideologies
You do realize there are tens of thousands of fantastical claims from basically every human culture and every human society that has ever existed! Do you believe in the Viking gods or the native American gods or the African gods? You realized that every group of people that ever existed made up wild stories

Exactly. If I the traditional 26 poses in a studio while blasting the top 40 Christian songs of 2024 and then I lead a prayer to Jesus at the end during the ending meditation....have I sinned? Was I worshipping the Hindu gods?.... No one ever has an answer....
@@May52525 especially as i have a strong suspicion that each pose will have been performed somewhere, by some person long before yoga was invented. Would it have been a sin to do yoga before yoga was invented? Are there things we are doing today which in the future will be done to worship hindu gods, and will those things become retrospectively sinful?
"You think you're worthless." That's because I am. "You think you have no value in your life." That's because I don't have any, not enough to make a difference anyway. "The God of the universe came down to die a death that you deserved on your behalf, because He saw your value." *No, I didn't deserve his death, and He didn't see my value because he's completely absent from my life despite me being born a Christian and baptized as if I were one.*
Such a powerful and amazing message Chris!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳 Love how you speak about your wife. I have heard lots of Christian men speak negatively about their wives. As someone who takes the bus a lot I appreciate the bus joke 🤣🤣🤣 Amen about the presence of God and how sitting there in His presence is enough!!! Our best life here cannot compare. Also love how just reading James impacted so many people. True about how God does the convicting. I was just reading 1 Corinthians 3:7 before watching this.
There’s a large difference between think and I am, and I am worthless. I don’t think I’m worthless. I know I’m worthless. I know for a fact, my life is meaningless if I die tomorrow, would it mean anything to anyone?
You were always one of my favorite teachers but you have become so wound up that it causes a headache listening to..it becomes so tense…go back to your more natural speaking instead of performing 🙏
amen is false , the right word is 🕉 om , the christian people steal this Hindus culture and vedas More information get to search 'yog vidhya' and 'yoga asan'.
Praise God for setting captives free by truth and His spirit! I therefore bind to hell every desire to think evil pays off while binding one to desire to understand doing evil will consume one in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents, the children I teach and the body of Christ, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone desiring to think evil pays off while lacking desire to understand doing evil will consume one, in accordance with this word and romans 12:17-18, isaiah 1:16-20, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!
