You might call me crazy but I think Molina is one of the best defenders of all time (not just catchers). His powerful arm, accuracy, and awareness is absolutely incredible.
In my lifetime he's perhaps the biggest "what if" Cardinals player. Hes up there with Oscar Taveras and Rick Ankiel. In 2011 he was among the best hitters on a team that had Berkman, Freese, and Pujols. You could even argue that he was the 2011 WS MVP. His career may have faded out too soon, but Cardinals fans from that era will never forget how good he was.
Dodgers sure have had many postseason heartbreaks since winning it all in 1988 (as of the end of the 2022 season and I am not counting that 2020 season)
13:18 Kershaw should have been relieved by this point for crying out loud. The Dodgers didn't have a good enough bullpen in 2014 and rode Kershaw too deep in the game. This game 1 was devastating. Now the Dodgers take starters out too early.
Thank you for this fantastic trip down memory lane. Great time in my life, falling in love with the game and the boys in orange and black. Had one of those grey 2012 hoodies, dunno what happened to it
