I also Play a 7-String Viper. Never give my Viper away, that is a incredibly great Instrument ! 7 -String is much difficult, but i have much fun, it is great to pay on it!
Hi Trevor, thanks for your in- depth bridge install on your Cantini. I recently purchased a Cantini Earphonic from the original owner. I noticed the bridge was slanted back and I wasn't sure if it was to remain this way, however, you answered my question and I thank you kindly for explaining that it should always be kept straight. Take care. Blessings
You are welcome, brother! Glad you are enjoying the new HD | HR albums. Was a real labour of love in honour of the ONE who did it all for us! Soli Deo Gloria. T
I find it so cool, that two totally different artists from different parts of my life have come together to collaborate in something so beautiful. Makes me feel so blessed that I know both of you.
I have noticed that the Mark Wood Viper is rather expensive, and they are not always easy to find for sale! Wish the design was license to other violin makers so that it would be more affordable and more would be available!
So excited to find some content related to electric violin and worship songs!! I’ve been playing with my Worship group for about a year and each time go through this process of how best to praise the Lord with this beautiful instrument!
Love to review an ME 90, but only so much time lol 🤣. There are a lot of universal principals here through in this review, however, that you can take with you to any pedalboard, so I encourage you to do that. All the best! Also watch my main pedalboard tour for more ideas: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q9OBoYS0l0w.htmlsi=z79pcX4kXOt8xjGr
I upgraded from a sy-300 to a sy-1000 and I regret selling it. I was thinking of buying a sy-300 for my brother in law for christmas for his violin--how has this thing held up for you? Epic? What silent yamaha model is best in your opinion?
Love this Video! Question: I used to have a multi effects pedal, loved it years ago, now getting back into it. So my question is that *if I have a Modeling Amp like a Line6 Spider V 120 mkii for example, do I still need a pedal like this, or would the amp give me a decent array of starting effects?* I ask because I can’t find any violin vids on those amps, so it’s hard to tell, but the guitar effects sound amazing on it, and I’m super interested in picking one up as I’m upgrading amps anyway. Thanks a million!
The Line6 Spider V 120 and other amps like it should give you all you need. You will want to approach your "basic sound" in a similar way to what I do here ... but in the amp format. All the best! Trevor
I just happen to stumble on your videos for the first time and came across this video. How wonderful that your family thought that much of you to send you your momma's violin which you played so beautifully, how wonderful it must be to have your mom's violin that she played, I play violin but not nearly as well as you do, one of my favorite songs to play is ON EAGLES WINGS, would love to hear you play that on her violin. I'm looking forward to checking out your other videos.
Hello, Trevor ☺ Thanks for your review!! I would be grateful for your advice. Now I'm looking for a reverb pedal. I'm thinking about Strymon Bluesky V2, Meris Mercury 7 Reverb Pedal, Universal Audio UAFX Golden Reverberator \ Del-Verb Ambience Compan or Keeley Caverns Delay Reverb V2.... or maybe you can recommend something else 🤔 Thanks again)
@@user-ul3dk4gg1z what kind of reverb are you looking for. A simple spring/plate reverb as in vintage amps, or longer hall/ambient reverbs? ... or a large combination of all of the above? This will dictate what you really need. Do you want a "small footprint" - don't want to use up too much space on your pedalboard? What is your budget? Lots of factors to consider ... T
@@TrevorDick i understand what you’re talking about) i mean that it’s not so easy to try all of them 😢 but i already chose Golden Reverberator ☺️ thanks again
Great demo at at the end! Totally rocking the socks and sandles look too, love it! It seems one can do a lot with the midi in terms of violin techniques like vibrato, fast scales, etc
hi trevor! great performance right there! i really enjoyed! by the way , what audio interface do you use to take signal from pedal board? do you use any other devices besides the gr 55 and interface?
Hi Trevor. Dont know if video part 3 has been done yet . But i actually liked more the combination of the cantini violin with the iridium fender settings for ghe clean sound. Something just felt right over there. Great research and investigation process! Wish you al the best in finding the right one
Watching this has really helped me figure out HOW to tune up my sound and pedal board. I love experimental sounds with the Earthquaker pedals (like the Rainbow Machine, Arpanoid, Data Corrupter) - the weirder the better. But I've not spent enough time thinking about the tone development, love to see how you are achieving your tone. I'm (re)inspired!
