I don’t think you’re boring at all, artist are the most interesting people even when doing nothing. We are going have it out about those red onions, I love red onions 😂
God is big enough. He doesn’t need or employ other spirits. He wants your attention and time. Spend time in His word. Some of the lack of clarity may be because you are inviting too many spirits in and they mean you no good. God is pursuing you and He loves you. Get close to the only true God. Make Him first. God bless you.
Great video. Almost all of my acrylics are Golden heavy body, and Liquitex heavy body. They’re my favorites. I also have a nice sized collection of Golden high flow (basically Golden’s acrylic ink). I love them too. I like the King Art gel sticks too, but I haven’t done much with them yet. I’m excited to see what you do with them. Be blessed.
Sending a hug Martine ❤ you may feel that you are not doing nothing special or that your vlogs are not interesting BUT you are doing a lot of little things that will lead you somewhere and your sharings can help others, even if helps just one person i think it matters!
I love the color palette of the first page. I really enjoy how playful and free your art looks. I struggle with letting my self go and just enjoying exploring but I always love looking at other people’s
Your video kept me company while I painted, and I truly appreciate your openness and honesty, as you move through life's transitions and changes with such grace, hope, and faith, it is inspiring to me. If you haven’t already, you might want to check out the 'School of Visual Storytelling' podcast here on RU-vid. Maybe it could spark some ideas for your creative journey into self-employment. As I was listening, I couldn’t help but think of you illustrating and self-publishing your own book, blending your unique style with the wisdom from your spiritual journey. I’m praying your procedure goes smoothly. 💜
Thank you for a lovely tour through your sketch book. Regarding transfer onto other pages and how to prevent it. I use to tape in a freezer/transfer/tracing paper. This way you can happily use both pages without worries of ruining your art. Take care and keep creating. 😻
Thanks, I usually dont put makeup on… but I’ve been trying practice more self care and do things that make me happy 😊 and winged liner is one of them!😂🫶🏽
I watched this video while doing my treadmill session. Thank you for the company! The cows were very cute indeed. I love the yellow bird too. I love your still life drawings too.
I have never tried the Canson Graduate - looks like I have to give it a try! I have quite a few frome the Dollar Store believe it or not. I agree with you on the Royal Talons - doesn't hold wet media that well. I use them though because of the variety of size and I can carry it with me in my bag on the daily.
Love this picture Martine and I always love your colour selections. Your work very much reminds me of Matisse!! 🙂 I love those crayons too!! Love the fact that they take water!!You're gonna get those subscribers too - just keep doing what you're doing. You're insiring me to reboot my channel...lol..
I love the birds collage on the painting at the beginning of the video 19:24 I was admiring your plants 10 secondes ago 😄 Nice vlog, thank you for sharing
OMG Martine you did so many work in August, amazing!!! I really like the first collage and canvas you showed 😍 and the interactive collage elements in a painting is such a good idea 🤗 Happy September ✨️
I have the Canson XL Mixed Media sketchbook and I really like it. I've used it for collage, watercolor pencils and paint. I would repurchase it for everything else but except for heavy water pieces. Its good to do swatches and for backgrounds, to me.
🤓Honey do not give up.. I can relate to some of what you're going through💜You are an inspiration to more humans than you know! Take a break, regroup, & do a day of self CARE. Then come back fresh when your cup runeth over!💜🤗
Love my Canson Graduate too, wanted to like the Art Creations Sketchbook but I just couldn’t get into the paper, probably fine for oil pastels, pencil/pen sketches and other Dry mediums, although I’ve seen some artists do some beautiful Gouache and Watercolor work in them, lots of them love these sketchbooks, that’s why I tried the small one…I did do a couple of Art Journal pages using acrylic paint and the paper worked fine.
Ohh Martine, sounds like you need a big hug from an art friend ❤ you are not alone, we artists all struggle with the same issues and I personally ask me that same question "what I want to do with this?" a lot of times! To be a artist is hard either being a professional or not, but I'm sure with time we will find our answers and pursue our path ✨️ maybe you can conciliate art with your spiritual skills inclusive the tarot reading, there's an market for that area too...of course we need to pursue what we love but if you can combine what you enjoy the most and profit with your art the best 😊 P.S.- also look what you've build already in ONE year of art journey, it's incredible!
Thank you, you don’t know how much your comment means to me. Yes, I did a lot in a year. And ive made some amazing art friends like yourself and others. This is a slow climb and i just have to accept that 😊🙏🏾
