Hi, I'm a retired music teacher, now retired and mostly travelling around in my camper van visiting open mic evenings. I am classically trained in theory and orchestration but I play a small accordion with Midi interface. This can be played acoustically in the traditional manner or plugged into midi emulators to sound like a Hammond Organ with Bass Guitar on the buttons.
Ja eine Frau in Publikum hats verfilmt. The Lautsprecher waren auch nicht günstig positioniert. War trotzdem Spass einfach loszuspielen und ganz ohne Üben im voraus.
Nice to hear that instrument. I played a Cordovox back in the 70s. Darn thing had 2 large cases needed to perform. One had over 50 tubes and constantly needed a trip to the shop for fixing all manner of issues. The other one held 2 10 or 12 inch speakers. And talk about heavy! It's been quite a trip watching electronics evolve the way music is made over the decades. I just purchased a new "analog" Petosa Little Pro xT. It's a joy to play something again that doesn't need to be plugged in. The Cordovox went the way of the dumpster. The Petosa replaced my old student accordion, which I seldom played. It's also 4 pounds lighter and sounds wonderful. I play the Petosa almost daily and perform shows for a local Care Center on a weekly basis. It is a crowd pleaser!
It is lovely hearing Solveig's Song on the accordion, the soulful sound of the instrument really brings the music alive in a different and special way. Thank you for playing this so beautifully.
