My first car was a 1985 Fiat Regata 100s, and I loved it so much! It was so fast, beautiful, cool interiour, good to drive, good seats, electric windows made my pals envy. An awesome car that never failed me. I miss it so much! ❤️
The very rare Tunes advert with the cockatoo and the man saying "who's a pretty boy then" is here at 22.17. I found it a few weeeks ago ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c08IJ5yK2Ac.html
I recall my aunt's boyfriend from Mullingar, Ireland drove one of these cars. This boyfriend, though a nice man it was said of him "that you can take the man out of the bog but you can't take the bog out of the man". This Regatta had ELI in the reg as it was from Westmeath, of which Mullingar is the county town. This ad brings back happy childhood memories.
No they weren't the biggest drycleaners, they were part of the Johnson Group since the early 60's, which was the largest. They, and many other firms were swallowed up by the group, including Eastmans, Flynn's, Harris', Neals of Exeter, and eventually Sketchley's (who were initially purchased by Timpsons) then sold to Johnsons. Around 1995 all the companies which initially had continued under their original names, were re-named Johnson Cleaners. In their hayday there were nearly 700 shops throughout the UK - now down to around 100.
love this tune and love how Williams interprets it. Notice how that split second after he plays the final chord that he seems to come out of a trance and back to reality. I would love to be where he goes in performance
