Is there a way to import the csv files without defining first the table structures? Upon importing, it will automatically detect and create the headers.
Is there a diff technique to get teams data because whenever I try this technique to get teams data the server connections get abot=rted without response if there is any other way pls do tell me
Thank you, Alex! I have tried several other videos to get this kind of stuff working, but all seemed to have a feature that is no longer working. Your stuff is working, so I can use what you taught us about, and I can now use this for what I am working on.
I also had similar problems but if you check the error you should see what went wrong. In my own case i made a mistake in the datatype check your csv file properly to ensure that each column has the same dtattype in all rows and it doesnt have an error in the csv file
hi! love the tuts . i ran into aproblem , i downloaded a data set from github Unicorns.csv . its been 3 hrs and can do what you did . it wont copy it ! i also use the COPY persons(first_name, last_name, dob, email) FROM 'C:\file' DELIMITER ',' CSV HEADER; i get different error messages every time i try to fix it. any thoughts ? thanks
May I ask a question. What if I am going to import a csv file that has 300 or 500 columns given by the company I am working with. Do I necessarily do that? It would take some time for them to get the insights they wanted. What if there are 10 tables with 400 columns each. Do I really need to do that to provide the insights that the company is expecting?
Great video, thanks for the info! I was trying to recreate this but it seems like they've locked the page down quite a bit, any time I pull any of the URLs it just continuously loads and never renders. Any suggestions/tips to pull this data consistently?
i watched and read several articles on how to add a .csv file but wasn't able to add it finally i figured it out from your video that i should have checked the header .. thanks mate
great video, you are assuming that all orders are just 1 but what happens if one order is more than 1 like 5, in this case I can't say that the user bins should be 1,1,1,1,1,0,0,0....etc how would you solve it in this case?
Thanks for the video Alex! Im a fan of basketball myself. It is super interesting and exciting to do such data analytic project with something I love as my first ever project!
Thank you for your tutorial. I want to ask how you select the entire column with dancing ants? is it with a double-click or with another shortcut? Thank you
