Celtic Frost is one of my favorite metal bands from that time period. I had the Hell Hammer Apocalyptic Raids album when I was a teenager. Believe it or not, I had a really good experience listening to Apocalyptic Raids whilst trippin balls.
So sad that two brothers were torn apart. Gloria should’ve backed out in honor of the craftsmanship and progress of sepultura. It’s a bad business move to have your wife run the show. Except for max, the band did not want her. There are reasons for this and it’s not the burial arrangements for her son that caused this.

@@radvlad1431 , because in Brazil we don't have islamic people trying to pervert our laws in favor of themselves. Also, we don't have islamic people taking advantage of the poor. Plus, we don't have islamic offending and destroying icons of other religions (specially afro ones) like brazilians christians do. As you can see, islamic or jewish were never a problem for the brazilian society. Why would they write songs about religions that don't affect their lives at all?

@@Zyborggian respect your opinion but Max and Igor made the band and to be honest the music was WAY better when the brothers were in it and Against is my favourite non Max Sepultura album but still, the Morden Sepultura isn’t THE Sepultura and that’s my opinion and you can’t change that you angry person who sounds like you need a chill pill
I saw Venom, Slayer and Exodus at Hollywood Palladium in April 1985. It was phenomenal. Three huge slam pits all night with people throwing fireworks of the balconies, home made banners, etc. At one point Cronos did a 5 minute solo making ugly and guttural sounds with his bass while forking his tongue at the audience. When the show was over, the house lights went on and everyone was screaming for them to come back out. A few mins later they came out and tore into “Witching Hour” then COMPLETELY destroyed their equipment; smashing their stacks, smashing their guitars, smashing the drums, EVERYTHING. Just total annihilation. I remember there being actual electrical smoke rising from the broken gear afterwards.
