I want actual mini tournaments or Team Battles in the lounge that would be so dope. Street Fighter has weekly tournaments in there lounge why not Tekken 😭? It would give me incentive to go into the Tekken lounge.
Looks like they're addressing a bunch of QoL things players have wanted since launch. Nice. Outside of balance changes, I'd also like to see "entire body" outfits separated so they can be used with other customisation pieces. Edit: also let us change the colour of Lars' shoulder pad 8 symbol, and hit effect colour changes should match electric sparks for mishima characters moves/stances (Lars included)

Look i love stace pressure/ stance mixup characters as much as the next person, but now damn near everyone in tekken is a stance character. I started playing a bit of kaz cause I don’t like having to deal with a power ranger posing in my face the whole game. And I play lars and T7 Lidia
Yeah, it's pretty interesting how he has some stances now. I am definitely excited, looks super badass and I am also interested in the upcoming nerfs as well. No buffs are fine atm overtuned characters need work anyways. Lars was like "No shit you're back" freaking old man!! I hope he has another variation of an interaction too. Did you see some of the upcoming changes like the online practice and improvements to the training mode?
He is easier in this game yeah. But in high level play,his easy tools are more readable. So if you want his full potential, you still have to be an execution master. He's one of those characters that is easy to play but hard to master imo..
Completely disagree. I hate turtle fighters that just back dash and wait for an opening or wait for counter attack when the enemy approaches. Turtle fighters are boring to play with.
There are somethings that T7 Jin did better than T8 Jin, but overall I prefer T8 Jin because visually he's better and his voice actually has more emotion than his previous appearances.
I prefer T7 Jin because of his fighting style is purely karate without the devil Jin stuff but I agree that he's better visually in T8, I love his recolored outfit.
So finally I made Fujin with Lars 2 weeks ago, then took a break. Came back today and why the hell did I go on a losing streak all the way to Mighty Ruler man 😭
You’ll bounce back up. Shake it off and don’t focus on the points. :) If you made Fujin once, you’ll get it again. Don’t ever expect to hold your peak rank for long. It’s the way of Ranked systems.
I kinda want to see how they're going to overhaul Jin in Tekken 9. Technically his playstyle should be a mix of his karate, Mishima-style, and Kazama-style now.
I pick both of these characters and I'm almost at purple rank with them both. I can't really say I don't respect Jin, but they made him a bit privileged in this game. That's just my opinion though.
this Jin wasn’t a scrub tho? do you all realize how hard it is to consistently get Zen cancel on block? Jin definitely got dumbed down in T8, but so did everyone else. Jin also lost a lot of stuff going into T8, so he could be front loaded with cheese like D2 CH launch, Zen 2 power crush, and Zen having built in Electrics (wtf is this shit btw, why Namco). Jin nerfs would be nice, just to trim back some of the egregious stuff, like 2, 1 string only being -3 for some ungodly reason, D2 CH launching, and Samsara should absolutely be -10000 on block like Devil Jin’s lmao. basically, Jin needs nerfs, but will they even matter, because i’m convinced this character is just unanimously hated, with the reasoning not really contributing too much to the disdain lol
