Great video, thank you so much just got back in t9 town after a trip and x5 did this luckily it started 5minutes later and I made it home. Time to test everything
Does just mashing the grease around actually get grease inside the bearing? I always put the grease in one hand and then slap the small opening into the grease and then drag the bearing towards me to move the grease deeper into the bearing
Oh yo i just noticed on mine lastnight that the rear light thats directly above the back sliding window is out. Does that lense just pop out or is it screwed with a phillips head or something?
@@JNC1973 the lens that covers the light just pops off. I realized that if you use a heat gun and warm the lens up a little bit it's easier to pop off without breaking
do you put the alligatore clips oin order positive with postive and negative with negative do u stillhave to losen the neh=gative if you got allaigator clips
I got them off eBay it was the factory tow hooks that go to the actual vehicle. I just painted it black a painted the tow hooks red. I have a video on me doing the procedure I just haven't posted it yet. Below is a link to one that's on eBay 2006 to 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. I hope this helps www.ebay.com/itm/276637808027?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=MWCt3n9TSFK&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=lD6y2aEGSoO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
The high horn went out after about 7,000 miles on my 2023. If its a 2022 it ahould still be under warranty for the original purchaser. I'd like to know how you removed the bumper. Also, if it was wise to replace one or both horns with louder ones, and whether its original wiring could provide enough current. Thanks!
@tonybanks9015 here is my video on how to remove the front bumper. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nPn4Gjzd4Rs.htmlsi=C6t94dZlny1a9CvO Yes the original wiring will be more than enough to wire up a new stronger louder horn.
Thanks for making the video. Best video showing how to remove the sill cover/running board/rocker panel. I needed to know how to do this in order to acess the 2 bolts under the right fender so that I could loosen off the fender (3 or 4 screws in door jam too) at the bottom to gain access to the windscreen washer pumps. Your video helps alot.
@alfredomanuel8426 you're welcome and no problem I had to do the same thing on a 2009 BMW X5 e70. I guess I should have recorded it. Lol, I'm glad that my video could help you.
@dupreemr to be honest with you the best thing to do is to take the bearing out. That bearing has a part number on it period and if it doesn't you need to measure the inside diameter of that bearing to be able to find the correct one.
Just wanted to pay my Respect to you sir . Being a 3 day weekend, I ended up using 120 Pin Breadboard Jumper Wires And Hot glue to hold them into the back of the radio. Worked Perfectly!. I even wired up the microphone for the hands free. I found the picture of the Pin Out from a picture on the internet of a after market plug. Thank you for the video. Best DIY on this radio!. Hope you have the best day.
I just did this window regulator replacement (2013 Velly) and I followed these instructions step by step, it worked like a charm. Thanks so much for sharing this video, you’re a lifesaver.
