Great video. Thinking of putting one of theses windows in my van. How tough is the glass or what ever it's made from. I'm a little concerned about scratching from road side headges
Hi - when you fitted these did you get much pulling strength from the clips? Seems that will only pull in 1-2mm? also, with you straight frame - did that cause an issue at all with the curved windows? Got the same ones and would love to know
This video is so good, it is like watching when we moved out of our house. Your face Faye when talking about how overwhelming you were feeling, was so genuine and exactly how we felt way back when. Wish we had gone for more relaxing walks as we kept on just being super stressed on our build! Brilliant work, keep up the awesome videos!!!! Will definitely be following your journeys from now on! Love James, Dawn and Little Mary x
I had my fingers crossed for you both, glad you made it over the water to France ! Brexit hey ! Loving the videos and your choice of lifestyle, I did much the same a few years ago, now living full time in France and not regretting a thing ! If you're travelling Brittany way, I live between Angers and Rennes, you guys are more than welcome to stop here and recharge, I'm off Grid but have wine and beer !
If I’m understanding this right and it’s only going to be used as a reverse camera not a live rear view camera when driving. My thoughts would be to connect the live feed for both the camera and monitor to the reverse light cable. When you shift in to reverse gear the reverse light comes on and also sends power to the camera/monitor. This way there’s no power draw when parked up it’s only gets power when engine on. If I’ve got the wrong idea sorry!lol but that’s my plan if/when I come to install one similar 👍🏼
Great video guys, the shower is looking the business. I am hoping to order a Nautilus door as well, could you tell me how long yours took to come. I am in the UK as well, hoping it doesnt take too long. I have just found your videos so I am binge watching and have subscribed. Take care and stay safe guys xxx
Great first travel vlog guys keep it up! Well done on the sea swim, it's so cold 🥶We went for a dip when we went to wales the other week, damn its so cold ! 😅🤣Hope you electrics are all good now ! 😎👍
Nice job dude, we are at a similar stage in our build now - should start doing the hygiene panels soon, kind of dreading it tbh, watching you do it is encouraging!
@@groundedvans uh thats good to know, I haven't ordered the special glue for it, was going to use sticks like sh*t that we have laying around. Think ill order the specific glue for the pvc now haha. Thanks for the tip !
Well done! We know exactly what it’s like, we sold our 6 bedroom home and moved into our 6metre van in April this year. We’re living on CloudNine now! Good luck.
Hi both, going to be in the same position as you guys very soon! so great to actually see someone move into a van from start to finish. Thanks and looking forward to following along on your adventures! Thanks Ollie & Chy
The solution is to connect the two red wires to a wire that only comes on when the ignition is switched on and the green wire to the blue and white reversing light wire, then the only time the system gets power is when you switch on the ignition.
