Great video! Today i"m using Idole edt and edp, both together. 😂😅 As you like Mimosa flower I woud sugest you try Fleur d’Or & Acacia L'Occitane. Me, on my side I would try Champs-Élysées
Insolence is just the best ever. I have and use both versions, still in the round spiral style. First tried the edt and my goodness I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Do you remember the song “I knew I loved you before I met you”, that is how I felt. It was bold and modern yet had a good dose of nostalgia The edt sillage is something to behold. Wore it to work sparingly. I smelt the trail everywhere I had walked, even the next day. People were very intrigued by it. I then also bought the edp, and having thought how can perfection be improved on, I learned how. The addition of Iris is wonderful in creating a deeper, smoother result. Sillage and longevity are lower than the edt but still outstanding. I live in fear of this being discontinued. If I had to pick only one perfume to wear for the rest of my life, it is Insolence💜💜💜💜💜
I smelled the Philosophy Ballet Rose lotion today. For some reason I never smelled it even though I have the perfume. I just realized today that is smells a lot like Delina and Delina La Rosee by Parfums de Marly! That lotion would layer so well with them because of the rose, litchi and woodsy notes 💗
I own both and she's completely right I bought gardenia a year ago and I bought black opium last week and they both smell amazing and are really similar(or probably the same when you just applied it) but black opium is a little bit stronger but sadly it doesn't last because on me or my clothes it didn't even lasted 4 hours so for the price gardenia does a better job

Based off of your detailed review I feel I made the RIGHT CHOICE! I ordered the original 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽😂 But I feel that if I DO like it I can see myself trying the midnight one later on😁.. Also it only took 3 days after ordering too👍🏽 I’m very pleased at this purchase I must say 😁thanks for the review once again!🥰 I thinks there are 3 more new flowerbomb perfumes if you get your hands on them please do a review if you do I’ll know just which one to pick based on your review 😁🌼🌸🌺
I have both and tried each at the same time. I agree with you completely. I tend to like zara a little better because it lasts longer and the vanilla really shines.
Damn what a voice...you could talk ISIS out of a beheading with that voice. So pleasant. It's like honey mixed with butter, sprinkled with sugar, and wrapped in cotton. And you speak so polished and eloquently about this subject. This helped me pick out one of these for my girl...got the Midnight.
The John Lewis website is showing a picture of a bottle that is shaped like a house and has clear glass as opposed to this frosted glass. I am really confused if they have changed the packaging again.
Hi there I was wondering do you think a teenager can pass with wearing a couple of Elizabeth Taylor’s white diamonds flakers? I really like sparkling white diamonds but I want to try white diamonds brilliant, white diamonds luster, diamonds and emeralds, diamonds and sapphires, and Violet eyes. I love clean and fresh fragrances and anything floral but not the overbearing old lady like outdated florals
Hi there! I have never personally tried the white diamonds range. After doing a bit of research on the original fragrance, however, I’ve seen a lot of reviews comparing the original to Chanel No5, specifically for its classier and more mature vintage qualities. I can’t speak on this myself but many of the reviews have said so. Usually flankers will have a bit of the DNA of the original, so that quality will possibly carry into some of the flankers. I know you say you like fresher fragrances, and it does have a lot of fresher notes, but also a lot of stronger, more aldehydic notes which may overpower the fresher notes. However, since you do like sparkling white diamonds, they may also be more similar to that. I just figured I’d let you know that some people found it to be more cloying and “vintage” (which typically makes me thing old lady as you said LOL). That being said, if you already know you like a fragrance with a similar DNA, you may be safe to go for it! Fragrances work for people of any age as long as you like it and wear it in moderation around others who may have a fragrance sensitivity. Teenagers can pull of whatever they want as long as it makes them feel good, and as a teenager myself I stick with that when buying my own fragrances! I don’t think I will try any of the white diamonds with Rubys, sapphires, and emeralds only because they were released not long after the original but I will definitely try some of the ones that were were released in the 90s and early 2000s. I love forever Elizabeth and sparkling white diamond so I will give brilliant white diamonds , white diamonds lustre ,White diamonds night, Violet eyes,and Love white diamonds a try! I’m just so obsessed over forever Elizabeth and sparkling white diamonds that I have to give them a try and or mostly $15-$30 each! Thank you so much for everything! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi I have the Zara Gardenia and the juice was initially clear. It’s now a sweet tea color. I have had it for just over a year now. I had not stored it in a darkened space in fact it was in a sunnier room in my home. I was told that the change in juice color is the juice darkening because of the prominent vanilla. Mine might have colored quickly because of the breakdown in elements within the fragrance due to exposure. It is perfectly fine however. It’s aged beautifully. I now keep it in a darkened room!
I always heard of flowerbomb and i thought it smelled like flowers which is not my thing but my hubby got me a flowerbomb nectar travel size to try and i fell in love not right away cuz when i smelled from the bottle i said oh no not for me but when i put it on it transformed into something sweet and delicious that iwear throughout the day at home which i never do with my other perfumes ... i only spray once on my arm dab, and let it melt on my skin basically... its interesting tonwatch how the scent turns like a light sweet smell..highly recommend the nectar one, def would like to try the others
I definitely agree! At the time of trying Nectar I also brushed it off because it was way too strong for me. However, scents like that just need a little and will pack a strong enough punch. I will definitely try wearing it the way you suggested! I think you’d love the others, they all have a very similar vibe/dna💖
I bought a large bee bottle of the edt after receiving a 3 ml sample in the mail yesterday . my 12 year old daughter and I instantly fell deeply in love. We've gone through 2 ml in the last 24 hours . Idk what I will do having to wait 10 days for our bottle to come. Instant addiction and I hate powdery smells and have never liked a violet perfume before and certainly not an iris one. Liquid crack! I own like 50 perfumes and I've never bought a full size bottle so fast after trying the sample. I will buy every flanker and then backups too. Crack , I say! We're gonna wear this out all spring for sure.
I swear, it’s an addiction. Winter fragrances are my fave but this one makes me excited for spring too!! So happy you love it and we for sure need to find all the flankers!! 💜💜
This is such a helpful comparison video. Thank you so much for creating it. I bought the EDP and then after watching your video got the EDT as well. I am comparing them side by side now and the verdict it still out which one I like the most. EDT is definitely more citrusy and sparkly, and upon receiving it I thought I liked it more than EDP, but there is some smokiness in the very dry down of the EDT that I don't sense in the EDP. I keep going back and forth between them both. Need a few more wearings to get a firm opinion on their differences. But your video is so helpful and I completely agree EDT is a bit stronger on me too and long lasting, EDP is more reserved but still lasts pretty good.
I’m so glad you enjoyed, that means so much to me! I agree that since they’re pretty similar it takes a few wear tests to feel out the differences. Most people I ask can’t even tell! The performance on both impressed me, especially since they aren’t super strong gourmands or anything :)
Im glad jm not the only one who noticed the smoky drydown of the edp. Im not a fan of it, unfortunately. Its just something i dont want to smell on myself.. Gonna have to buy the edt. Can you tell me hows the dry down of the EDT?
@@samanthanuraieen1608 To be honest, I found the smokiness present in EDT as well. Probably even more so than in the EDP and not so much in the drydown, but throughout the composition. I don’t know if it’s licorice causing it or if it’s the effect of guerlainade recipe.
