Hey, two days ago I damaged a tire by hitting a curb and had to replace it. After the replacement, everything seemed normal-no warning lights or codes. However, when I powered it on again, I got a red “transmission damaged. Immediate service” message. The only unusual thing is that it shifts at very high RPMs (3500-4000) instead of the usual 2000. I’m not sure if the tire hit caused this or if it's just a coincidence with the transmission. It's a 2014 Ford Focus Titanium automatic with only 50,000 km. What do you suggest? Also, I need to change the motor oil.
Thank you brother, watching ur channel really helped me get thru the parts of this Job I was having issues with. Ur video doing ur brakes in the heat, sweaty AF, is like me down in FL. Very informative! best I cld find!!
Did your AC ever have any issues when the power steering fluid leaked? Since the AC and power steering condenser are together? I just started having AC issues but have had dripping Power steering and it is from condeser.
Is this really how its done? The instructions show the other location where people find the bolts are too short, which obviously makes no sense. I would think that supreme suspensions would not supply too short bolts.
Thanks for the video, I had a 1980 camaro I was working on had one of the metal fuel lines leaking under the passenger door and I was able to find the feed line quickly and stop it before it became a problem thanks to you!

I would check your grounds, your power connections and your alternator. Just making sure you don’t have corroded wires, is free and would be beneficial to the entire truck..

Thanks again Brother, Grounds are good, 1 of the things I rescently did plus new ground strap. will consider alternator next.
Hey thank you my guy, this is the most accurate video I could find for my 2014 ford focus se. I’m having the same problem as far as my car going completely dead. I was told it could be a starter but I figured it could possibly be battery first since the car completely goes black. So now my first step is a brand new battery, recent it stopped going in reverse and doesn’t accelerate in drive. Any additional advice
hi, when you install the grille, did you manage to put the screws in the bottom ? you were not annoyed by the original waves where the oem grill is fixed? thanks
I did get the screws in the bottom of the grille. That's why I went over pre drilling the bottom tabs while the grill was off the car. I do remember it being pretty difficult to get my hands down in there and doing the bottom before securing the top.
I just bought a 79 Firebird that has these same rotors and calipers. I seem to have to push the brake pedal down further that I should need to and just replaced the master cylinder. No Difference. You mentioned that the rotors have to go on a certain way which would indicate that they are side specific. If what you are say is correct about the slots starting at the center and pointing towards the rear, mine are on the wrong sides. Question; how did you determine the correct orientation and do you think it would cause the sort of problem I described about a soft-ish pedal? Brakes have all been bleed including the master cylinder. Is it worth the effort to switch sides?
I looked up everything I could on slotted rotors and all the manufactures stated to install them in that direction. My pedal is nice and firm. I’ve replaced everything except for the rear hard lines. I have zero complaints.
The service manual specifies a torque on the castle nut while spinning the rotor before backing it up. Your fingers will not seat the inner bearing properly. As stated you didn’t even put on the spring on the inner pad that snaps into the piston hole. FWIW your suppose to put the pads in the calliper first on 1st and 2nd Gen Camaros. Your calliper is not a Bear or Wilwood! Those are the types you slide in the pads once the calliper is on the calliper bracket. Also apply brake grease to all sliding surfaces and O rings and pins.😮
I have. 2008 Chevy Silverado and the indecator don’t show and the speed gauge doesn’t go up when I drive it when I accelerate it in the light it struggles to go fast but then after it drives good is there anything I can do about that
you didn't even have to remove the strut. All you had to do was disconnect the CV axle from the flange on the differential and then loosen the axle nut through the hub and bang it right out. You just made a whole bunch of unnecessary work for yourself.
