If I live in a terraced house in a row of four , do these come under the the new PD rights from this September? The two end jouses have been extended. One has a 3m rear extension and the other had new side extension 2 storey added 2yrs ago. It also has a 3 m rear extension. It would be lovely to have extra space. It measures 60 m sq now and was built in the 70s
Hi, sorry for the delay, I only just noticed your comment. Yes it would be covered by PD rights, but the Local Planning authority has the final say over the appearance, so i do not imagine that a rear extension would be a problem, but if you wanted to extend upwards 2 storeys there could be an issue because it would not be in keeping with the other houses in the terrace.
