I really try to avoid using Roundup. I've tried the home made recipe (vinegar, dish soap and salt) numerous times but it just doesn't seem to last. And, you have to apply it on sunny days (if at all possible) for best results. I've even tried the 20% vinegar too. And, not all of my weeded areas are in full sun. This year, I have given in and bought some Roundup because it works so well but I really wish I could find a better alternative for the environment.
thank you for this vid. this actually helped me resolve an issue with a car's fueling. Now i know what 50 psi is supposed to look like. - time for me to buy a new fuel pump.
The rain creates the sludge. When it sets out in the sun for a few hours, the sludge turns to dust for the first inch or two. At the beginning of our video, all the dust is blowing away and what is left is the pile of rocks embedded in the sludge. A few hours later, on top, it looked like dust again. That's when we built the washer wagon. Thanks for watching.
Thanks. We regret not coming up with the idea when painting the other three sides of the house. Also, we decided to leave the dirt back away from our wall for a few weeks until the paint hardens. We don't know if this will make a difference in the paint lasting, but we will see what happens over time. Thanks again.
I saw 3 other videos on how to use the Greenwood Propane Torch and although it doesn't take a rocket scientist to operate it, this is the best video explaining the how-to.

We feel the same way. Love it now. It's good for you too!! Maybe our moms just didn't know the correct way to cook it. Now it's delicious. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for watching. Beef tongue is definitely very delicious and can sometimes be found at a reasonable price. But the price of anything good keeps increasing. Enjoy!!
@@brijan6509 My mother used to cook it for us in France. I always loved it. I tried to replicate her recipe, while the peeling part was horrible following the recipe she used, the cooked tongue was delish. I will do it again following your cooking and peeling technique.
Loved hearing of the memory of your mother. Would love to know how your tongue comes out using our cooking and peeling technique. Ours comes out perfect every time. Enjoy!!
Prices were very reasonable when we purchased the beef tongue seen in this video. Popularity of beef tongue has made the price increase quite a bit. That's what happens when something is found to be very good - the suppliers begin to take advantage of a good thing. It's still worth having some for a special treat or occasion. Enjoy!!!
It may look a little nasty or weird, but it is actually very delicious. Hope you'll try cooking one and discover for yourself what you're missing. Have fun!!
We have used white vinegar and apple cider vinegar. We have even used pickle juice but have used those eggs within a couple of weeks since we don't know how long the eggs would store in the pickle juice. Thanks for watching. Have fun!!
Yes, you read that correctly. At the time when we purchased the tongue featured in the video, the per pound price was very reasonable. Since then, prices have increased quite a bit. Even with the price increasing, it's worth buying and cooking some tongue as a special treat. Enjoy!!
Thanks for watching our video. According to Harbor Freight's website, this is the information they have regarding shipping International: Unfortunately, due to various import/export regulations, Harbor Freight Tools does not ship to Canada, Puerto Rico, Australia, or other locations outside of the United States (including APO/FPO addresses outside of the U.S.).
Yes, we do, to make sure the inserts don't accidentally get bumped and break the seal. Thanks for the inquiry and watching our video. Have fun making a batch of pickled eggs.
Thanks for your inquiry. We prefer to add a little water to reduce the tartness of the vinegar. But, it's not necessary if you prefer to have more vinegar flavor. Enjoy!!
Beef tongue is very good meat, my grand dad was coocking that sometimes, it's good. But I don't know much people who know it's eatable, my grandpa is originally from village so he knows. I don't understand why people think beef tongue is disgusting, it's just pure muscle, very good meat. It's not dick or eye, it's normal meat.
The stamp you are referring to is the U.S. Department of Agriculture inspection mark. The stamp is rather blurry on the particular tongue we used, but it includes the establishment number, the letters U.S. and Insp'd & P'S'D. Thanks for watching our video and hope you enjoy cooking and eating some beef tongue!!
We purchased the tongues in this video when the price was reasonable. Since then, prices have increased some depending on the area you live in. Enjoy!!
Thanks for your positive comment. We try to include information in our videos that we would want to see if we were watching it. Hopefully, more viewers we be looking for a comparison of this kind and find it informative. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for your positive comment. We only refrigerate the eggs after we have opened a jar. The other jars can be stored in the cupboard or other dry area. Enjoy!!!
Glad they put this video out. Most hikers are only listening for the typical (hollywood) ADULT rattlesnake sound seen on TV. I never before thought to listen for the droning sound of insects, and consider the possibility of it being a snake. Good video. It might save a life --or quite a few.
Thanks for your comment on our video. Most people that just take even a casual short walk in the woods may now be more aware of the sounds around them to avoid an attack from a rattlesnake.
Glad you liked the video. Also, thanks for your comment regarding the music. We will use this suggestion as we make our future videos. Hope you had a chance to make some beef tongue and enjoyed it!!!
We used beef bouillon cubes purchased at Sam's Club (they are Tone's brand). You can use any brand though. Thanks for your inquiry and watching our video. Enjoy!!
