Former Scout Sniper, and Afghanistan War veteran. This channel is about guitar gear, and a veterans journey with playing guitar. I served as a Scout Sniper in Afghanistan from 2004-2005 with the 25th infantry division. Came home, and became an alcoholic for ten years. Put down the bottle, and picked up a guitar. I figured I’d document my progress. Thanks!
@@Scoutsniperguitar i will say this brother, i never served in the army but my grandpa and uncle did serve but i do own modern military gear including gpnvg-18's and a fast helmet and a pair of multicam pants and a plate carrier.

@@Scoutsniperguitar nice I played a baritone PRS several months ago it was nice they had a note on it to let everyone to know not to tune to e standard
I heard prs signature guitars are really nice! I was looking at all of the signature guitars from prs, but I figured the owner of the company should have the best one. lol. It’s definitely the nicest guitar I’ve ever owned by far. Thank you for the comment!
I can’t figure out why when I tune it a half step down, it just doesn’t sound right on certain songs. It sounds so nice when it is done right, but I seldom get it right.
@@luis1208 nice. I started practicing a lot back in 2017. About 7 months back I read a book about Stevie Ray Vaughan, and in it it said something like in order to get better you need to play live. Well I live in the middle of nowhere so I figured RU-vid.
