This is what I wanted feom Odyssey. When we say that we wanted to be able to waln around, we didn't necessarily mean like every other shooter to exist, or at least I didn't. I wanted to be able to walk around the interior of my ship and even possibly my friends ships, even while theyre flying them so that you can actually be on somebody elses ship
i can allready hear doug the mouro saying: thissss is a sidewinder. And today i'm going to review its quirks and features, taking it on a test fly and at the end, i'm going to give it a doug scoore.
This makes me angry at Frontier! Interiors is the ONLY update I ever wanted! Nice work FRj ! ← Comment for your algorithm + 👍 'd + *_Sub'd!_* #OldManPaxus Rating: ★★★★
My only complaint is the use of ladders to go from one floor to the next while inside the ship. In my humble opinion, a spiral staircase would be 100x better
I am absolutely blown away by the ability this guy has at visualizing what the interiors of ED ships would be. The way you fit everything together is fascinating and makes sense. You sir, are a fucking legend. Since it's been a while, I hope you are doing well in life. When you have the time and energy, I hope you continue to make more ship interiors. I'd love to see the vulture, or if you're up for the challenge, some gutamaya ships!
I hpoe that you have shown your work to FDev. It occurs to me that a team could be set up, perhaps with a kickstarter to fund it to back port somethiin like what you have done into Elite. However, it may be difficult to merge what ever you have used with the game engine without tanking the frame rate. I also suspect that part of the problem is that there are inaccuracies in the internal structures that would require a lot of work to sort out.
