Man, this song is taking about don't fall for others bullshit. When someone is judging you, or the world is a mess, you are better than you know. He won't allow himself or others to fall down and ruin themselves. Listen to the hook and if you get it you can understand.
So many of these lyrics went right over your head. "He leave the competition steaming like a pile" has nothing to do with being shot. He means steaming like a pile of shit on a cold day...
