Do we have to curl it first before putting it into the rollers? I thought the rollers were supposed to curl it for us? I'm trying to avoid using heat

Hi! When I use velcro rollers to get volume at the top of my hair I roll them backwards as shown, but I end up with flat spots at the root, then volume several inches down the hair shaft, instead of lift at the root. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!!

What type of rollers do you use? I thought Velcro would be dangerous for me as I suck at putting them in. I got plastic ones but I feel my hair just slides off ugh so frustrating

Shay how do you stop your loose hair tangling up in the Velcro of the roller? It’s so hard to section the hair and I can’t see the back so I have some hairs out and some stuck in the rollers.
