So bringing all that to the public attention is really changed a lot for farming. You do not sir have the personality of someone who could be cruel to animals. And not all hired people working on this farms were abused happen weren't the ones doing the abuse. Tyler pink eye hit my cows hard had a couple completely blind I used this stuff and in a matter of a couple days they were healing up and none are blind. Very impressed and no patch needed. If you cut a slit longwise in a piece of pvc pipe and then slide over that metal edge you get a nice bumper.

Possums in the hy barn are not good either.. urine on the hay can give the animals you feed Leptospirosis (Horses for sure)... just saying

If you mix half cornbread and half baking soda together, in a ziplock to make sure you have it mixed good. Then put it in a container they can access it and it won't get wet. Don't mix it with peanut butter.

That fly soap rope seems rather ineffective.

Would a metal strip across the top of the rubber lids help to keep the washers from digging in when the pigs push up on the lid?

Tyler, Tyler. SOLUTION!!!! You mentioned a hard line to your COW SPRAYER. WHY NOT just have a mobile pump fixed to a motor (petrol/electric) next to the cow sprayer and pump your soap/water solution which is already mixed direct into the sprayer holding tank. EASY..................

As long as your bin doesn't leak on feeder I wouldn't worry about feeder flaps. Didn't you use to feed a wet feed?

You might put a piece of flat iron on the top of the rubber doors where the 3 bolt with washers are. Pigs can be very destructive as you know.

Hey FTR when are you weaning and picking your heifers and steers for the year? Then, when are you going move the cows to the winterpasture?

How about a bead of silicone on the the metal, just under the flap? It would discourage any water that creeps under the edge.

The way I feel you are the farmer and you take great care of your farm including the animals , you do what you see fit..great job!!

Maybe you could put a strip of metal on the end of each lid which would keep them straight without curling, just a suggestion. I really like your sense of keeping everything basic without going out and buying all new farm items. Keeps one out of debt too!
