I get inspiration from just about everywhere, from doll houses to real houses, movies, books, everywhere lol. I've been making paper dolls for a few years now.

I’ve begun drawing mine. Starting with a doll of my husband ❤…. It looks terrible 🤣 I won’t give up. I knew my firsts would look bad but that’s ok! My dolls will be HUGE because I am going 1/6 size and he’s 6’8 in real life 😩 😆 Thanks for the inspiration!
I love that! My male dolls are all based off my husband! my first dolls were also terrible; it took a while honestly 😅 I get your point about the dolls being big, I think my husband is huge and he's 6'2"! have fun and keep me posted on your journey😃

@@Jay-hd1jt Hi, so there's a bunch of reasons why I do this. I love dolls and paper dolls, just always have. I also love to draw and doing this is a great combination of both. It also allows me to create the type of doll sets I wanted growing up. I either couldn't afford something or it just didn't exist where I grew up. I started all of this this year, but I've been working on and thinking about doing something doll related for years, many years. I want to create my own paper doll line, and I'm recording the journey I guess. While also playing with dolls, I hope this answers most of what you asked lol...

Good luck with the paper doll line, I’m sure there are a lot of kids who would be interested in putting these together and making their own You could make sets for all kinds of themes or if licensing permits , of series as well with well known characters

@@TGPapercraftPlaytimeI didn’t realize that you drew them on paper. I thought it was all on procreate. The variety you use is very cool. I imagine any tutorial you do I will binge watch and share.
@@dierdrecole8027 I actually got the iPad to make the art process a lot easier for me because doing it on paper takes a really long time. I'll share the Procreate video of me creating the dolls as well. I'll probably upload it on Tuesday. Thank you so much for your support!
